You can not be this petty and rustled.

Try saying Michael Dyer was overrated when you first get on here like I did and you will get used to the down vote.. side note, just because you say something is overrated doesn’t mean it’s not good...

Back on topic and maybe missed during the in depth discussion of dopamine feed back mechanisms and the crucial role they are expected to play in the developing science of the upvote/downvote field...
(BTW, the book Molecules of Emotion by molecular biologist Candace Pert is highly recommended for a better understanding of peptides and neurotransmitters such as dopamine, serotonin and natural and synthetic endorphins. Seriously, it is really good)

Malzahn was in Huntsville on Tuesday night for an "Ambush" tour stop at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. When asked about which position groups he and his staff were focusing on, Malzahn answered by looking at the class as a whole.
"I don't think there's one group that really stands out," he said. "This will have a chance to be our best class, at least since I've been here, the way it's setting up right now and the response that we're getting. We're going to have a chance to finish strong. That's what's exciting. I think a lot of recruits and their families see the future of Auburn football, so it's a real exciting time."
Our philosophy is a little bit different than some of these schools that will just take commitments, then have decommitments a month later," he said. "We develop long-term, true relationships, so we're a little more patient than most. We think we're in a great spot to finish."

Decartes' Error and The Feeling of What Happens by Antonio Damasio are two you might like if you're into the cognition/emotion stuff.
Good to hear. Our class could be amazing if he makes sure our best product is on the field all season.

Are we going to get a top running back this recruiting cycle?

Derrian Brown with an outside shot at Antony-Richards. Wish we could get Cain but it seems unlikely.

Every year we miss on our top RBs. I don’t understand.

They see that Gus runs them in the ground in college. I hope he figures out a way to run a two/three back system so he can keep them all as fresh as possible.

So playing time is a big factor in recruiting until it’s not

Curious why you think it's unlikely? Currently it sounds like AU/TEX are the top teams

Auburn giving Miami pledge ‘something to think about’
Kingsley Eguakun visited Auburn in early March. At the time, the visit appeared to be nothing more than a trip to check things out. He’d taken a few of those to other schools since committing to Miami. The visit to the Plains seemed to be another.
But according to the Jacksonville, Fla., prospect, he had a feeling after that initial Auburn trip that he’d be back.
“Oh yeah, I knew,” Eguakun said. “Auburn, it’s just somewhere I could see myself playing and going to the university.”
Eguakun returned last week for Big Cat Weekend with his mother and brother. The family stayed overnight, well into Sunday, which allowed them to spend additional personal time with offensive line coach J.B. Grimes and other members of the Auburn staff.
One fact became clear: His second visit wouldn’t be his last.
Eguakun told Auburn coaches after he left that he wanted to take an official visit in the fall.
“I’ll take an official during the season,” Eguakun said. “I had a good time with all the coaches. The coaches, they’re great guys. They’re great like the guys in Miami. The campus is another great aspect of the university. And then there’s a great football tradition at Auburn.”
Eguakun made that Miami commitment on Jan. 12. The 3-star prospect made both Auburn visits after that pledge. A few other schools have offered Eguakun and shown interest, but as of now, the Tigers are the only true threat to his Hurricanes commitment.
Eguakun’s expected official visit in the fall will loom large.
“They’re definitely giving me something to think about, but I don’t really know how close it is. Miami is still Miami for me, and Auburn’s still Auburn,” he said.

Keiondre Jones wraps up official visit to Auburn
Keiondre Jones has visited Auburn countless times the last few years.
Over the weekend, Jones made his one permissible official visit to the Plains.
The 4-star guard from Hogansville, Ga., arrived on Friday with his mother and brother. Jones is familiar with what the Tigers have to offer. He’s been to games, practices and other recruiting events, including Big Cat Weekend last week.
The official visit gave him some more in-depth solo time with Auburn coaches.
Jones isn’t taking interview requests as he wraps up his end-of-summer official visits.
One source, however, said Auburn feels like it’s in the driver’s seat as the dead period approaches. Jones will take an official visit to Florida next weekend, but Auburn sees Clemson as the bigger threat if Jones were to choose a school other than Auburn.
Playing in Auburn’s favor is Clemson’s official visit strategy. Clemson doesn’t host spring/summer official visits. Jones planned to make a decision before the start of his senior season. He won’t be able to officially visit Clemson before the season, so if those Tigers remain in it, Jones likely will push his decision-making process into the season.
My Crystal Ball pick remains on Auburn, and it’s not likely to change.

Elite WR on verge of early-week official visit to Auburn
Jalen Curry’s recruitment kicked off with an Auburn camp offer two years ago.
Everything will come full circle on Monday.
The 4-star wide receiver from Houston — who holds close to 40 offers — will make an official visit from Monday to Wednesday. It’ll be his first known trip to the Plains since that camp visit two summers ago, but that hasn’t stopped the Tigers from making an impression on Curry.
He has said for a while he wanted to make it to Auburn for an official visit. Curry’s relationship with Auburn wide receivers coach Kodi Burns has grown stronger over the years despite the lack of on-campus visits. This week will be an opportunity to take his Auburn interest to the next level.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound receiver appears to be looking out of state, and in the SEC, more than anything else right now. Tennessee is the perceived favorite to land him, but Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU are also showing serious interest.
While Auburn originally planned for a two-receiver class, the Tigers added Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.) receiver Ja’Varrius Johnson over the weekend after a camp, joining longtime pledge George Pickens. Johnson’s addition doesn’t alter Auburn’s recruitment of other elite, big-bodied wide receivers.
Curry and Georgia commit Jadon Haselwood are at or near the top of that list.

Buck target Khris Bogle says ‘100 percent’ chance he’ll visit Auburn again (SECCountry)

Buck target: ‘100 percent’ chance he’ll visit Auburn again
Mid-interview, Khris Bogle dropped the Gatorade bottle he was holding. As an uncoordinated reporter, I felt entitled to make a joke about the 6-foot-4, 210-pound athlete from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., asking if his hands and ball security were cause for concern for college teams.
Bogle took the jab in stride, and he responded in good fun — and truthfully.
“I just like to hit quarterbacks,” Bogle said with a smile.
That he does, and that he will.
Bogle has been one of the rising stars this spring in South Florida. Georgia, Nebraska, USC, Ole Miss and Auburn have offered. He already held offers from the three major in-state programs. Programs such as Notre Dame and Penn State jumped on board last fall.
Auburn’s interest picked up after some initial scouting by area recruiter Larry Porter. Porter and defensive coordinator Kevin Steele saw Bogle practice this spring and were immediately drawn by his combination of size and speed.
He fit exactly what they search for in their Buck targets.
“Me and Coach Porter, we’ve been talking for a little minute now. Me, Coach Porter and Coach Steele, it’s just been great since they started recruiting me,” Bogle said. “I came up to take a visit with a few other guys, and it’s like a family atmosphere. They’ve been talking to me a lot lately, so we’re going to see what happens.”
Auburn likes Bogle as a Buck, which differs some from a few other programs recruiting him. He gauged that it was about “half and half” of schools recruiting him to play with his hand in the dirt versus standing up.
“It’s different for some schools. Some teams want me to play down, and I can play down because I play down in high school. But Auburn, they want me stand up. I’ve got the speed to get around the edge, too, and that’s what they want me doing,” Bogle said. “I like either way.”
Auburn has a few Buck targets on its radar. Bogle and Gulfport, Miss., prospect Derick Hall top that list.
Bogle made his first trip to the Plains for Big Cat Weekend. He will likely check out a bunch of schools this spring — Tennessee (already visited officially), Miami, Florida, Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State. The Tigers made a major impression, however.
And according to Bogle, he’ll be back at Auburn: “100 percent.”
Bogle would like to make a decision in July. If that’s not possible he’ll likely wait until Signing Day because he doesn’t want his recruitment to interfere with football season.

Potential for big weekend at Auburn?
There should be an update on 4-star wide receiver Jalen Curry on Wednesday after his official visit. Any good news for the Tigers could be the start of a few good days on the Plains.
There are at least two big visitors from South Georgia expected to be on Auburn’s campus this weekend. As always, there could be more, especially with another camp coming up. Here are the two big prospects who plan to be on campus this weekend.
4-star DE Curtis Fann
4-star ATH Jashawn Sheffield
Fann hasn’t visited Auburn this spring, but he’s communicating with defensive coordinator Kevin Steele almost daily. He has a strong relationship with several Auburn commits and targets, including Sheffield, so it’s big for the Tigers to finally get him back on campus.
Sheffield has been a bit of a mystery. It appeared that he was closing in on a commitment this spring, but he decided to hold off. His visit could be a sign of good news to come for the Tigers.
