As of today yes. Need Gators passing offense to suck again this year

They should have a decent passing attack, but Franks is a good, not great, QB. Our passing attack w/ Stidham should outperform what UF does.

One bad season and all of Kirby's momentum could easily come to a halt.

Talked to a buddy of mine that coaches in that area and Copeland came up. Supposedly he transferred from Pine Forest to Escambia, but is now thinking of transferring back because of academics.

Clemson insiders probably believe Clemson can land any recruit they want after their most recent string of commitments.

Their pedigree with receivers is unquestioned. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they landed him.

Clemson does have some elite QBs coming down the pipeline so I would have to agree with you. There will be a lot of good opportunities for WRs to really showcase their talent if they signed with Clemson.

Every elite receiver that has signed there in recent years has gone on to dominate before going high in the NFL draft. Their passing offense is no joke; and they're bringing in the #1 overall recruit QB this year as well. For Ross the question is whether or not he wants to take the leap of faith and buy in that Lindsey will deliver versus taking the much more guaranteed route at Clemson.

Cal grad transfer Aaron Cochran going to Oklahoma State. Not a huge surprise won't be at AU after taking Wilson Bell

Their pedigree is a result of great recruiting at that position, and the QB position. Not some magic potion or incredible grooming of talent. It's like the LSU or UF being DBU. If you stop getting 5* corners, your DBU label wouldn't/won't be there.

I don't give a damn if he goes to Clemson. As long as he doesn't go to Bama

Wasn't he an OT tho? Bell is a Guard. We needed a grad transfer OT badly

We weren't bringing both in. LG is what Hand specifically said was a weak spot and Bell can help there

It's time we sign a 5* in our own backyard

bullshite. None of that matters unless you have the scheme to utilize players, which should be obvious by our own team the last several years (every WR we sign under-performs regardless of recruiting ranking, every RB we sign over-performs regardless of recruiting ranking). Its not a "magic potion", its having a working environment which allows players to succeed to their maximum potential.

You are oversimplifying this stuff. You think that every LSU DB has been a 5-star?

Jalen Collins: 2nd round pick, 3-star recruit
Tyrann Mathieu: 3rd round pick, lowish 4-star recruit
Morris Claiborne: 1st round pick, low 3-star recruit

DeAndre Hopkins was the 25th ranked WR on 247 Composite. We sign 1-2 receivers like that every single year and when was the last time we had a receiver go 1st round? Hopkins wasn't some cant-miss 5-star stud; Rivals even ranked him as an ATH.

You just named 1 WR that wasn't a high 4* out of the 7-10 guys in the past 5-6 years that were studs at Clemson. And you think that's proof that recruiting isn't the MAJORITY factor in the success at that position? Pfft.

And same w/ LSU. You named 3 DBs out of the 20 or so they've put into the NFL under Miles and the rest are probably 4* and higher.

It's not just that easy, it does require hard work and putting them in the right system but you're naive as hell if you don't think WHO they sign is more important than HOW they develop them.

Tough to get good WR play with piss-poor QB play AND when your offensive passing schemes literally are just randomly drawn together routes instead of actual schemes designed to get guys open and give the QBs clear reads.
