Hard to utilize it when we haven’t had the talent to do so since CJU. That’s where Landon Rice was supposed to fit in.

Perhaps, but don’t think Alaimo provides that talent.

I actually like his skill set & would have loved to have him but I know we have more pressing needs with a few spots left.

Having and actually using a tightend can be an asset, but nobody says "its hard to match up with them at tight end" give me more OL and DL'men

KN reporting that Gus, Horton and Garner taking an in home visit with Malik Langham tonight. They gonna try and convince him to visit. We will probably find out tonight whether we are a real threat or not

Alaimo has a really high floor, IMO.

He’s a tough take considering numbers right now. But I have a feeling he’s going to do good work at UCLA or TAM

TAM

You know he's gonna have like 8 rec for 100+ yards & a couple of TDs against us in a few years

Sounds like Langham might take an unofficial to AU. Garcia of 247 had update & honestly it sounds like we got into that race too late. We will see if he ends up visiting

What is the deal with Langham? Is he really a big AU fan? I know he has blown up late, but we are about the last to offer.. did we miss because we missed on bigger fish or what?

1. Yes. 2. It looks like other than McCreary at CB we may be taking best available for the final spots. He could be 1 of those the staff sees as best available regardless of position. Also KK had a nugget that AU may like him at RT.

So, got my wires crossed slightly on Langham info from the other day.

Apparently HIS HC is a huge Arkansas fan. The guy who I got the info from is the HC at another school in Huntsville but is very close with the other coach and Langham.

Langham's coach has tried to sway him away from Bama saying things like "you're not a good fit there" and it worked the opposite way. It motivated Malik to want to earn an offer from Bama. Weird, I know.

Alright so finally got around to looking at senior film on our 3 DL targets

Caleb Johnson

Caleb Tannor

Malik Langham

I would be happy with any of the 3 but personally I think I like Tannor the most. Feel like he could contribute early some at the Buck and grow into a SDE that is also a threat as a pass rusher. Probably like Langham 2nd best. He's definitely a DT at the next level. Hard to not love the frame but looks like will need to get stronger. Johnson is an interesting option as he plays LB for his team so that he can roam the field. KN thinks he will grow into a DT though I am not sure about that. Impressive athlete

Won't complain about landing any of those guys tho. With us not taking Alaimo I am hopeful we can add one of these to DL class that I already really like. Tannor would be a nice insurance if Jibunor can't grow into a Buck

Also LOL at the camera man for Roger McCreary's highlight tape. Person loves to pointlessly zoom in making it hard to understand what the hell is going on

Just listened to the KN interview on Calvin Anderson. Really impressive guy, and would love to get him in for the year.

I will take a class like this all day over one like the 2010 that has a few 5*'s but half the class is 3* or lower.
I'll take the class with Cam Newton in it

t. Look at where the top 10 teams in the recruiting rankings TYPICALLY finish in actual on-field rankings. tOSU, Bama, UGA, Clemson, FSU, Auburn and the like all

You mean the 15 to 25 teams that have historically competed for the title are still competing for it.

So Gerry Hamilton of ESPN says their last rankings come out tomorrow, not today.

Huh? I’m not in charge of what ESPN does. Tom Luginbill Says their updates were moved back to tomorrow and it was out of their control.
