Better get Tank on the phone quick

zero reason to think that, based on a few crystal balls.

He's visited us an insane amount of times. This has Derrick Brown written all over it.

Except AU is the team with the coach on the hot seat and UGA, as a program, has an insane amount of momentum at the moment.

When Brown was a senior UGA was in turmoil and fired their coaching staff.

Totally the most Gus thing ever that we need Tackles and take 4 guards in this class.

3* QB James Foster decommitted from Mizzou as well. Would love to snag him as our 2nd QB. Says he plans on visiting for Iron Bowl & KN says he's on the radar

LSU trying real hard to win the battle for most 3*s signed in a single recruiting season.

Interested to see if Lindsey might visit him this weekend. KN says we are recruiting him but still in evaluation stage.

I have always liked Foster and he would be a nice #2 option to Gatewood in this class. Another dual threat kid with a strong arm

Also Myles Mason committed to Mississippi State. AU recruited him early on but he lost a spot after we loaded up. He kept waiting on that Bama offer that never arrived. Will be a solid player for the Dawgs

KN says Travis Williams plans on visiting Quay Walker Friday. AU feels like got a good chance at flipping him but Bama feels good about keeping him as well

He will probably also see 2019 ATH Jammie Robinson who will be another highly recruited kid out of Crisp County next season

Learned how to pay players and get away with it from the master. Things will cool on Skirby when he loses 3 of the last 4 games.

I don't know about that, but UGA is def taking advantage of a weak schedule right now. I'm interested to see how they handle decent teams.

5 offensive prospects in Class of 2019 who Auburn is best positioned to land (SECCountry)
quote:

It’s never too early to look ahead.

Auburn’s 2018 recruiting class is already looking fairly strong on offense. So why not look ahead to the Class of 2019?

The Tigers already have made some serious headway on a few of these top prospects. Check out who Auburn is most likely to add in this way-too-early prediction.

3-star OL Carter Colquitt, Buford (Ga.)

Carter Colquitt might be the only offensive prospect in 2019 who has come out and called Auburn his leader.

There’s no question the Tigers are prioritizing Colquitt among 2019 offensive linemen. And the interest appears to be reciprocated. Colquitt already has been to Auburn for two games this fall, and he plans to make it for as many as possible.

“They’re my top school right now,” Colquitt said after the Mississippi State game. “I just like Auburn. I like it a lot. It feels like home. I like the people here. It’s just a good place to be. I like it a lot. It’s so great. I still love it. It still feels like home.”

Colquitt isn’t in a major rush to make a decision, but I don’t think there’s any question the Tigers are the team to beat.

Lots of talent on that Buford team. Wouldn't hurt to get a kid from there to help us with some of the other top talent

4-star WR Shamar Nash, Memphis Central (Tenn.)

With one stud wide receiver already added in 2019 (George Pickens), Auburn would like to add another.

Shamar Nash received an Auburn offer in May, shortly after some of the Auburn staff attended a camp in Memphis. So far, Nash has offers from Auburn, Florida, Missouri and Tennessee. The Tigers have gotten Nash on campus already this season for a game, and they’ll likely work to get him back again before the season is over.

Nash is an impressive talent. He’s a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver ranked as the No. 267 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 43 wide receiver, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Dude's a monster. A WR Class of Pickens/Nash would be insane

5-star OL Clay Webb, Oxford (Ala.)

Clay Webb is probably the most high-profile prospects Auburn will end up recruiting heavily in the 2019 cycle. Webb is ranked the No. 16 overall player in the country, the No. 1 guard and the No. 1 player in the state of Alabama.

The Crimson Tide are the team to beat, but don’t count out Auburn here. Georgia also will have a chance thanks to some family connections.

Webb has visited the Tigers twice already this season and has some strong relationships on the Plains. He’s close with Gus Malzahn and offensive line coach Herb Hand. He also has a close high school friendship with freshman Auburn linebacker KJ Britt. Those relationships will help, as will Auburn’s pursuit of Bo Nix.

When all is said and done, I expect Webb to choose Alabama, much like another major 2019 target, Pierce Quick. But Auburn is in a position to prove me wrong.

Don't see this one happening. I think he's all Bama

4-star RB Jerrion Ealy, Jackson Prep (Miss.)

You know Auburn will land a big-time running back, but who will it be?

So far, the Tigers have offered five players at the position in 2019 — Jerrion Ealy, Trey Sanders, Devyn Ford, John Emery Jr. and Daniel Carter. Sanders is already committed to Alabama. Emery seems poised to end up as the next great LSU running back out of Louisiana. Ford and Carter are bigger unknowns.

As for Ealy, he visited for the most recent game vs. Ole Miss. Part of that was because, as a recruit from Mississippi, he wanted to see the Rebels. But it has to help Auburn’s chances that he saw Kerryon Johnson march into the nationwide lead for touchdown runs on the season.

It’s still super early for Ealy — and all the other aforementioned prospects — but Auburn has built a solid recruiting foundation.

A lot of big time RB talent in 2019. Personally I am the most high on John Emery & Tyler Goodson
