Seth Williams had 201 yds and 2 TDs with one going for 81 yds

Reminds me a lot of Nate Craig-Myers on film. Big kid that moves really well with strong hands. I can live with losing out on Ross if we get Williams

Want both tho

Also Shaun Shivers went OFF last night

8 carries 234 yds 4 TDs in 1 half....

That's about 30 ypc and a TD every other carry

That sucks because we won't have another chance to impress at home until UGA in mid November. 11 AM for Ole Miss is going to suck.

It sucks because dude is a beast. My two favorite LBs this class are Michael Harris and McClain which we had a legit shot at signing. However, McClain seems to really struggle with the recruiting process and it sounds like he doesn't have anyone close to him to guide him through all this.

That's where the coaches should realize, OK this kid needs guidance. Get him on campus and try to provide it. We finally have good LB play again after like 8 years of not and I'd like to see that continue.

Agreed but I think they have tried that. They worked REALLY hard this summer to get him on campus. I can remember at least 3 times it was reported he would visit then no showed. At some point the kid has to make a little effort in return. I would not be surprised if he pops into AU for either the UGA or BAMA game and AU gets back in it with him. I think at this point ball is in his court on whether or not he wants to be recruited

He also said he was going to commit on same day visiting LSU for first time. Did not make the trip and never committed. Supposedly LSU is no longer recruiting him either

Over 500 yards through 4 games and Keith said the hardest games on their schedule are behind them. Could be a huge year for him.

He's done well for the most part against much better competition. His team is expected to be one of the top 3A teams and he could get a state title this year. I think he's gonna be a fun player to watch at AU

For whatever reason no one seems to be releasing visitor lists. As of now only 3 players I know that are visiting are Tyneil Hopper, Michael Parker and 2019 C Louis Paul Smith

KN put up another insider. When I get a chance will update but an interesting note in another VIP article is that Jamarcus Chatman is expected to visit this weekend. He's teammates with stud Adam Anderson and was committed to LSU before flipping to Tennessee. Could be another SDE/DT target to add to the list with Fox and Oladele

4* Justyn Ross will be at the game tomorrow. Kodi is attending his game tonight

4* Tank Jenkins will be at the game. Louisville thought to be the favorite unless AU pushes.

As Paw mentioned 3* DE UT Commit Jamarcus Chatman will be here tomorrow. AU is watching him play tonight.

Breaking down Auburn’s recruiting visitor’s list for first SEC home game against Mississippi State (SECCountry)
quote:

Auburn enters Southeastern Conference play this weekend against Mississippi State, which means week-to-week recruiting picks up on game day. After surprisingly impressive visitor’s lists against Georgia Southern and Mercer, the Tigers will begin to host more and more relevant 2018 targets to go along with their strong contingent of 2019 and 2020 guys they’ve hosted for the first two games.

The list below consists of six 2018 targets — all at key positions, with multiple spots to fill. Of those six, one is committed to an SEC foe.

Check it out.

Auburn commits

3-star safety Kolbi Fuqua, Cordova, Ala.
4-star WR Matthew Hill, Snellville, Ga.
3-star WR Shedrick Jackson, Hoover, Ala.
3-star OL Jalil Irvin, Stone Mountain, Ga.
3-star ATH Josh Marsh, Decatur, Ala.
4-star RB Asa Martin, Decatur, Ala.
3-star DL Daquan Newkirk, Orlando, Fla. (JUCO)
4-star 2019 WR George Pickens, Hoover, Ala.
3-star safety Jamien Sherwood, Jensen Beach, Fla.

Good to get Sherwood back on campus. KN says there is some confident at Florida that they can flip him

Targets committed elsewhere

3-star DL Jamarcus Chatman, Rome, Ga. (Tennessee commit)
3-star 2019 OL Brandon Cunningham, Ocean Springs, Miss. (Miami commit)

Chatman is interesting. Not as high on him as Fox and Oladele but haven't seen any of his senior tape so we will see. Teammates with Adam Anderson

Priority uncommitted 2018 targets for Auburn

3-star CB JaKorey Hawkins, Montgomery, Ala.
3-star TE Tyneil Hopper, Roswell, Ga.
3-star OL Tank Jenkins, Montgomery, Ala.
4-star WR Justyn Ross, Phenix City, Ala.
3-star CB Keith Washington, Prattville, Ala. (JUCO — Michigan transfer)

I really like Tyneil Hopper. Need to look up tape on Washington. Hadn't heard of him until now
