Glad to see Mize get back out there and dominate. Hopefully him and Thompson are 100% for next week. No doubt we in NCAA tourney now after that win

Interesting that we got UF. Seems a lower seed would get them since the bracket changed from the beginning.

Don't they have a set bracket? They match #1 seed UF with the expected highest seed RD1 winner assuming no upsets. Like bball tourney where 1 seed plays winner of 8/9 game

I know what you mean, but the seeding doesn't change, just the single to double back to single elimination structure
Easiest way to think about it is right now to make semi finals we have a "3 game series" with a rotating opponent
Then semi finals/finals are back to winner take all games

Interesting note, since the new setup started in 2012, a team that lost their first game at this stage has make the SECT finals
2016 - TAMU & UF
2015 - UF
2014 - UF
2013 - Vandy
7/8 Teams to make the SECT finals were in the losers bracket at some point during this RD
3/4 SECT champs have lost a game at this stage
