Apparently former Vol commit 4* CJ Cotman got a visit from Tim Horton today and is very interested. Could play offense or defense. Ohio state and North Carolina also recruiting him

Tennessee isn't exactly in the position right now to pull any offers given that their recruiting has gone to the crapper lately.

Hell, the more the merrier.
I would rather have to see the team face a hard choice between two good quarterbacks any day compared to being short like this year.

KN with update on 4* WR Tarik Black. Kodi Burns made in home visit yesterday that apparently went really well. Michigan has long been the favorite but AU is a real threat here. Alabama was a top team as well but apparently it's now down to Auburn & Michigan. Burns will visit again next week with Gus & possibly Lashlee. He likes how he feels like the #1 priority for Auburn and has great relationship with Burns. Problem is he does not like our passing numbers over the past couple seasons (join the club). He plans on releasing a commitment video in the next week or two

Apparently Mazzone was supposed to call Stidham last night and never did. It's truly amazing the way A&M is going about this 
I believe Rhett is visiting today. Marcello (who's not really much of a recruiting guy) says will be interseting to see what happens after that visit today. You have to think another good visit for us to go with more cold shoulder by A&M would help finish this thing soon

This thread is high energy right now and I really wanna take a shot of Rambunctious Rhett with you all, but I'm scarred skeptical and need recruiting rehab.
What if A&M slow plays and cranks it from 0 to 100 all next week until Dec 11th at midnight? They're closer proximity and a quick Bama-style blitz they might be able to convince Mond it's okay. They're not good enough to do it but.. having Yeldon flashback syndrome although he was committed a year; Stidham not at all.

I understand hesitation but the way A&M has handled Stidham is making it highly unlikely he ends up there. Sumlin seems to be set on keeping Mond (who is EE) and so despite fact Mazzone really wants Stidham it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. They have avoided the conversation altogether with Mond so it's not like they have even tried to lay groundwork for a late push. I would be more worried about that happening if in their last in home visit with Mond this week they had tried the "Stidham starts this year so you can learn system then you take over next" type thing but they didn't and they didn't contact Stidham last night like they said they would.
However based off of KN's most recent update UF might be team that actually proves biggest threat. They are going to visit him Sunday and try to get an official that following week. If that happens then things will get tough. RL is visiting today, Gus next week and then Rhett again later. I feel confident that if RL is still here for 2017 we land Stidham.
Of course it all changes if someone like LSU hires Kendal Briles but that doesn't sound likely with all the Kiffin rumors
