4* JUCO DE Isaiah Buggs planning to visit again for Clemson game

His last 2 visits have been to Auburn and this could be 3 in a row. He no longer plans to commit at end of August but wants to some time mid season. I don't want to get hopes up too high but AU does really seem to be trending here

KN doing an all day recruiting chat. He dropped an interesting nugget saying that Markail Benton recently reached out to coaching staff and that is first time either side has spoken to each other since his commitment. KN thinks he might want a ticket to the Clemson game. Says he probably wouldn't get one unless staff truly think he's flippable so something to watch

We should just make the condition be that he wears all Auburn gear to the game. Don't care if he has no intention of flipping, would just be a reasonable condition of him goin

Tell that bitch that Clemson isn't on Bama's schedule this year.

Nick Brahms broke a bone in his leg in practice yesterday, out for a few months so might not see much of him this season

I hate it for him. On the bright side, there are a lot worse things than a little rest leading up to your freshman season in college.

I don't know, losing that coveted HS recruiting ranking is going to be rough. He should "flip" to Bama/Ohio St until healthy so recruiting services know not to drop him

Kodi Burns on recruiting

Off to a slow start so we will see how he closes but kinda funny to hear he uses the line "I know Cam Newton" & he plays playstation with a bunch of recruits

KB is going to have to learn the ropes on recruiting pretty quick. Only coaches that can get away with sucking at recruiting are the elite position teachers.

3* S Jordyn Peters announcing Friday morning

AU looks like team to beat. KN thinks he will rise in the rankings. Put up some ridiculous numbers at AU camp

Shawn Shamsburger stock on the rise

Apparently bama is sending out some feelers & AU wants to see him in a game. He is now a 3* & transferred to play at Colquitt County this season. Says we are current leader and wants to visit for Clemson game

I have no doubt that McGriff can evaluate...they don't pay you in the NFL to recruit.

that being said, if Bama wants someone at corner I'll take em.

He's not committed to or considering Alabama, so that's understandable.

I don't recall really hearing back him during camps. Is that because he didn't really attend many or just didn't stand out?

If that means we get to hold on to him, I'm okay with it.

usually a high ranked kid not participating in camps is viewed negatively by the rankings. So dumb.

I don't mind services choosing camp kids they know over benefit of the doubt for kids they haven't seen in person against the best

It is ridiculous though how they go beyond that and reward kids for choosing their camps /all star game
