Meh. I see EH as a luxury.

Agreed that's why I threw him in as after the fact. We will def need to sign a big time RB next year though.

You don't wear your envy very well.

I have told you guys more than once we get Brown, and the same w/ Jackson etc.

You don't have to like me personally, but my info is solid.

The joy I took personally from you uGA's was worth every mention ALTERS like yourself make on TT. Congrats on his 2 TFL, and 1 sack.

Need to hang on to Alaric Williams and maybe another one depending on what happens with Thomas.

'17 is RB heavy. Has 24 4*+ guys.

For comparison, there are 16 this year.

Rated .9200 or better:

'17: 16

PMarsh made front page 247 with an article about Gus & his relationship with "friend and one time pupil" Cam Newton

Harbert needs to step up, Cam is still the greatest gift ever to Auburn

I don't even consider Auburn an option for him at this point. It would be great if there wasn't even an AU hat on his table

Of the 2016 RBs, very few are geographically located in Auburn's typical recruiting area which I arbitrarily made AL/GA/FL/TN

247 Composite 4* RBs in AL/GA/FL/TN
2016- 5
2017- 13

Pretty remarkable. I thought about counting in those + likely RBs listed as athletes but it was getting too complicated

I'm sure there are kids who are getting overlooked in this class at RB, but you are right it is nuts. Especially from the geographical distribution, which has very very few close to Auburn

good luck to Marshall, but I don't think we need a guy with as much "ME" and attention whoring in them as he has.

It appears the 2017 AL class is pretty strong compared to this year. This year's is pretty top heavy with Davis, Davidson & Wilson but then it kind of drops off. Next year's class isn't as top heavy but has better overall depth

2016: 3 (Davis, Wilson, Davidson) guys with > .98 rating, only 3 with > .90 rating
2017: 1 (Benton) guy with > .98 rating, 12 with > .90 rating

If we can split it with bama should have a very solid class

Lol. Griffin was not a take for AU.

Could have fooled me. We begged him to OV all season long. He finally does and leaves without even giving an interview. All of a sudden "not a take"

It's possible he was a take w/ the old staff but they no longer count. The new staff targeted Jayvaughn Myers & made Griffin a back up to him.
