Why are we doing this when every other team offers tons of guys every year.

We do too.

You offer everybody you could possibly be interested in. Doesn't mean you can commit if you want to. It's weird but it's how recruiting works. Every school slow plays guys.

The excuse AUC was given he wasn't big enough for our system @ 6'5. I can't remember if they said his arms were too short too or if that was a joke here because of not taking him for his height.

Antwuan Jackson can't visit Saturday cuz he has a playoff game that day. He will likely be at the Iron Bowl though & staff still feels good where we stand. Per AUC.

Appearantly not for JB's LTs. IDK.

Greg Robinson was 6'5 though so ummm yeah.

Greg Robinson also had 35" arms which was #5 at the NFL combine in 2014. Seantral Henderson was 6'7 but only had ~34.5" arms

I have no idea about Demetri Moore, but your height is a negative for all OL due to center of gravity/bend issues. Tall people though have long arms ergo OTs typically are tall.

A 6'6 guy with 33" arms would be a terrible build for an OT for example

That was OT Greg Little that announces this week that I was thinking of. Not Price.

We could end up with Demetri Moore and Price if Jeremy Pruitt gets fired. Pruitt brought to UGA their online coach and he's another Bama guy that Right doesn't like. So if Pruitt goes he goes IMO

Looks like Zach McCloud decommitted from UM

Derrick Brown told 247 that he and his family have the best relationship w/ Coach Garner of any coach on any staff recruiting him.

I'm fine moving Garner to TE/ST and getting new DL coach. We don't use TEs and he can ride the coattails of the legit AU kickers recently

Heck, his "sacrifice" may even net him a small raise etc

Correct. Zach McCloud has decommitted from the U but says the door isn't shut on them. If they make a splash hire he would still go there. He's an EE though so I don't they get that shite solved before he announces

We're #2 for McCloud aren't we?

Who else is he considering besides us and Miami?

He did not say or imply that. It doesn't have to be a splash hire. Just one he & his family likes. ]the new guy could have a previous relationship. Could also be hiring a DC or LB coach he is comfortable with.

Depends on when he is ready to shut things down. If he waits til the last minute like Tim Irvin did it could be halfway or 2/3s into Jan before he shuts things down.

Also Zach was not an AU take at last report. Waiting to see if that has changed.

Apparently Zach is a take. Keith apparently has amnesia about his writing there were likely a few LBs higher on AU's board.

I think it was Rivals that said he wasn't a take. Keith has been saying CWM loves McCloud for a while now. IIRC

He wasn't a take when he wasn't going to AU. Now we seem to have jumped the front he is a take
