I'm just saying if he isn't going to get pt they should have tried him at cb.
This year he may not have PT but both WR positinos Slayton would project at are wide open next year. Keep in mind he wants to play WR not CB
Compare that to CB where we have 2 FR playing well and a RS FR who is looking good in practice

I must have missed it. When did we get Kyle Davis?

Our WR depth usually accounts for 3 WR spots.
I gave only the outside WR outlook since I don't expect Slayton to play in the slot and Truitt/Davis have slot locked up
I'll edit it to put it out

Jason could easily play slot also.

I am arguing that there isn't a high level of competition for PT at WR going forward. I wanted to include all potential competitors for PT. Trying to do this unbiased arguing thing as best I can yo
Also, if Richt gets fired, he comes to AU anyways

You see where that top 150 wr is now don't you?
He's behind Marcus Davis

Oh and BTW I just got a text from AUC saying Franklin committed to AU.

I would actually prefer Smith in the slot. He's not a real big body guy, has shown some signs of being able to find holes in zones, and has speed to do damage down the middle.

I think Jason ends up in the slot personally, as I mentioned in above comment, I put all potential competition so we don't have to hash that out later.
If Slayton can't earn a starting/major contributor role next year, he is underachieving given the clear opening

You didn't know? If a guy doesn't start immediately these days he sucks. Redshirts are for projects and pussies. And since he sucks too much to get PT at WR we should move him to CB where he can also not get PT. This is common knowledge type stuff.

Look for #Auburn to land commit No. 15 next weekend. No. 1 juco DE Paul James says that's when he'll give Tigers his verbal.

If somehow we get both Adams and Lawson back healthy next year and Paul James comes to Auburn, our DL should go from major liability to pretty dang dirty (until our depth sucks it up)
ETA**: It will be more impressive to see how Garner manages to coach them down. Did I do this right?

I hope so, but damn, how many years are we going to say this until it proves correct.

I think Cowart now that he has dropped some weight and with Carl back is going to have a solid end of the second half.
I think Paul James is the real deal though and Lawson + Adams are known commodities. I think guys like Cowart/Russell are good next year, just not game changers
