I'm just glad he has matured sooo much in 2 months and was able to convey that to our coaches in a single visit!

We cut ties 4 and a half months ago not 2. And it would not be hard at all for the staff to find out if EJ is at least making progress through talking to his coaches. He does not have to do a 180 overnight like you are implying for the staff to be interested in him.

And what position are we recruiting him for?
Everything I've read has us recruiting him at TE but at the moment Isaac Nauta would be the only TE we would take with Rice.

Because why would you let someone visit and waste time and resources if you thought he was a bad seed and not a good fit for the program?

Ut's not wasting time or resources. The kid paid his own way and camp fee. He should be allowed to camp and show the staff he is working on himself.

E.. I wouldn't even worry about it. Did you see my post about Tre. Have you heard rumblings about it? Also, you would be shocked to see how PHS spring went. I wasn't there but talked to an intern that was there for 8 weeks. He said it will be a long season.

No. I rarely read posts longer than 3 or 4 sentences. Short attention span.

No I wouldn't. I like Chad as a person but he is very overrated as a coach. He is only there because the principal brought Chad w?/ him when they both came over from Wetumpka.

Supposedly grew up an Auburn fan.

quote:

After receiving an Auburn offer last month, Ignont admitted he grew up an Auburn fan and felt "blessed" to received the offer. Ignont said in March that Auburn and LSU were his co-favorites.
quote:

"I grew up an Auburn fan, I love the whole atmosphere. I like the whole family atmosphere, how Coach (Gus) Malzahn had his wife sitting in the office with him. It's big to finally meet him one-on-one, meet Coach (Will) Muschamp, it was great," Ignont told AuburnUndercover.

"I'm extremely blessed to get the offer, I was really happy when Coach Muschamp told me I could play football here."

Ignont said Auburn is "right there" with LSU among his favorites. Ignong plays inside linebacker and running back, with Auburn's offer targeted for the defensive side of the ball. Ignont adds that he has a relationship with Auburn running backs coach Tim Horton, but expects to play inside linebacker in college.

"Auburn hadn't bee on me that hard, but lately it's picking up," Ignont said. "Auburn wanted me to come down. I didn't expect the offer, but I knew it was coming if I kept working."

I think you got him confused with another recruit. Everything I read on him was he grew up an AU fan.
