A lot of recruits mention him by name. He's going to be a great asset. Already is..

The 5 day Jersey Boy trip is not just AU per Rivals. It also includes Bama and Ole Miss, which was the tour Gary took the end of May. Ir will be interesting to see who is right between 247 and Rivals. Obviously I hope it's 247.

Bama and UGA peeps on the recruiting board are saying he's set to visit them in that period so it looks like 247 missed on this one.

5* OT Willie Allen is making his 2nd visit to AU this month starting tomorrow. It will be a 3 day trip.

i'd love to sign this kid, but if 5* means instant impact guy, he isn't there. He's probably even more raw than GRob out of HS. Needs a LOT of pass pro refinement. But deer lourde can this dude run block.

Would he be an ideal guy to have in a class with a juco like Bolles that he can sit behind for a year or so?

According to rivals reporters, they think with Calvin Ashley he is expected to be a starter day 1 and it would affect OT recruiting.

Wouldn't be shocked if we only recruit JUCO OTs or a guy like Willie Allen then

absolutely. Apparently the staff is super high on Demetri, the other JUCO OT, from Huffman, AL. I'd be fine with taking Allen and a JUCO OT only as long as Ashley sticks. That's a risk though.

The Demetri kid looks the part. Reminds me of how Tyron Smith looked physique wise. 300 pounds of muscle

Here's another potential factor. Isn't Braden expected to be the RT When AY moves on?

I remember one reporter saying that Smith projects better at RT for us. Which makes sense why LT is a big need. I imagine we have a good number of guys that are serviceable at RT just not LT
