His balance is unreal. He makes some incredibly hard cuts too and manages to keep speed even while off balance. He doesn't seem to have that elite top end speed but he seems to have a knack in the open field to make people look silly

I feel like this class is looking the most promising of any in recent AU memory this early. Lots of guys seem to ahve legit interest that are top players.

Even the currently lower rated guys we have committed like Landon Rice and Quinnen Williams seem to have started generating some buzz

I usually don't start following recruiting this early, but I'm assuming it's a fluid situation. Our LB targets listed don't seem to high on AU based on the CBs so far.

Wouldn't put much stock in those right now.

Most of the CBs are just Demetric Warren CBing every Alabama prospect to Bama anyways

Most of those guys take a stab early at guys to rack up points or whatever. It's kinda bogus.

Both Rice and Q. Williams should get some solid bumps up the rankings over the next year. There are SO many DL in the 2016 class, and having these two on board lets us concentrate on the Rochester's, Brown's, and Jackson's out there.

IMO yes.

He is super athletic, lengthy (heyooo) and strong. I think he's a SDE down the line. Some agility drills would go a long way with his quickness in college and could turn him into a major DL with All SEC upside.

I have no idea what would fix it but the CB system has some serious flaws that need to be addressed.

anyone else on here JUST as high on Ervin Barrett as the 2016 QB for us as they would be Jawon Pass?

Ervin Barrett is absolutely AMAZING on video. He's like a more dynamic and athletic version of Braxton Miller.

That's kind of what I figured when I saw 100% bama on a few guys

He reminds me of Nick Marshall except less armstrength. He doesn't sometimes resort to some poor mechanics throwing. He at times has a Tim Tebow windup.

He still gets it out quick when he does itthoguh

Definitely impressive. I still want Pass, but he would be a good backup if we don't get Pass.

His move to Calhoun HS was a smart one IMO. He would have been a major target for everyone anyway. But he is at least playing against better competition, and going up against bigger/faster kids in practice. Will help him when he shows up.
