FWIW BMatt thinks Burt is Texas bound and Ryan Davis is a top target now.

There is almost no way we pull in Burt. If Texas withstood teh onslaught and his mom basically is forcing him to Austin, we basically have no chance.

After watching Texas in the bowl game, I have to think Burt can't be right in the head. Even if Texas got 4x better, that is still only 236 yards a game

Do the Horns have a particular dedicated recruiting budget? I noticed that on secrant, that Auburn is getting a new Jumbotron, bigger than aggy's, and they were concerned that it would not come from their recruiting budget, and the response was, that auburn had a top 10 recruiting budget. Is there such a designation, or who knows? I wouldn't think that we would have what we need as far as getting the recruits we need to compete.

Yes. There was an article published last year that I am not about to even try to go looking for again. Tesas don't spend much on their budget because they don't have to leave trhir state to get players.

Jonesy must be one of Allie's sources, she says Jefferson doesn't want to play second fiddle to Cowart.

I found the following article from 2013 on various budgets/revenue. Click on the heading to sort by that column. It shows AU has the highest recruiting budget in the nation at just under $2.8 million. Tennessee is #2, and Bama is #8.

Not too long ago I remember people basically locking Burt to Auburn. What happened? Just mom?

Seems like it, but we shouldn't make it seem like he doesn't like Texas. He likes it there, and he'll be the man there.

I went to grad school at Bama because my girlfriend was going there. But then I got a job offer out of college and she didn't so I had to let her go. It worked out for me.

You know what I meant Jonesy

HS kids who choose their football career based on GFs are dumb.
