SIAP but per BOL interview Tyler Carr will be an EE and plans to commit somewhere by mid senior season.

Another SIAP but I did not know it so here goes. 3* LB Montavious Atkinson named AU his leader on Saturday.

I noticed that. He's a hard-nosed player. Blows blocks up, attacks, gets through trash well, good tackler. But he's not a take right now, right?

guard makes more sense... he doesn't seem to possess the length and elite athleticism to play tackle... maybe RT, but not LT. He's a legit run-blocker though and is agressive.

I think he's worth holding a spot over... if not for the fact that we don't really sign many high profile in-state OLs... Dismukes was the last, and that was four years ago.

in my uneducated opinion, Carr is a much better college prospect than Sims, even though both have similar recruiting ratings.

TBH I was not sure cuz AUC did not make it clear in there 10 most wanted OL article and cuz bama is actually recruiting Carr at OT instead of OG.

Carr is much better than Sims. He has legit offers from us, Bama, and UGA

I doubt we'd take him at this point. But I also didn't think Elijah Sullivan was a take either.

A good note about our OLine Recruiting:

Of the Top 10 OL targets that was posted on 247 a couple days ago, we're the favorite for 4 of them.

G Tyler Carr
T Bailey Sharp

Would not be disappointed in that class at all. I really wanna us to steal Warmack as I think he is going to be a real good center some day

Just based on what I've read he's as solid to Bama as they come. He's been recruiting heavy for them.

Maybe after his trip to Bama last weekend but that remains to be seen. But before last weekend he was no where near "as solid as they come" to bama. We are selling the much higher chance at early PT with Reese graduating and Bama bringing in not 1 but 2 HS centers in 2014. He was very intrigued by the likely earlier opportunity at AU.

I got the opposite impression. Staff seems to think its a long shot too.

Up hill battle yes but per AUC insider last week the staff felt they were in the thick of the fight due to better shot at earlier PT
