We have 1 open schollie now right? Do we give it to Waddell for his last year then or what?
That's possible since Bruce said in Destin yesterdayhe may just leave it open dor a 2016 kid. FWIW JGT posted yesterday he's not buying it. He said AU may not have targeted anyone yet but he expects them to & bring in somebody for the last spot.

Oh & Bruce said yesterday that Cim will play at the 5 w/ Tyler Harris playing a lot at the 4.

1 Canty
2 Dunnans
3 Purifoy
4 Harris
5 Cim

New Williams is coming today per AU Rivals. No words on the jucos Dunnans & Hicks yet.

Williams, Harris, Brown and Spencer are supposed to be here for the 1st summer semester. Dunnans and Hicks are coming for the 2nd per ITAT.

Same as mine although I wouldn't be surprised to see Lang starting at one of the wing positions early.

I'm hoping Lang can really hone his 3 ball skill. I've always thought his best spot would be off the bench.

With his intensity/hustle, defensive improvement and some offense he would be a nightmare for other teams off the bench

Really amazing haul considering where we were just a few years ago.

Jack purchase has decided to transfer. It will be interesting to see if the staff targets another grad transfer to fill the open spot.

Fine! I'll take credit for a kid transferring that was never going to have meaningful time again on the court for AU.

Yeah, I'm pretty sad about Purchase leaving. He might not of been a great fit for Pearl's system but he seemed like a great guy to have in your locker room. Seemed well liked by all his teammates and just an all around good guy who could lighten the mood.

Good. He was a Barbee recruit anyways. All reminisce of Barbee need to be purged

Granger is all that's left but I think he can be effective off the bench if used in the right way.

It was fun watching Lang's Dad on the ESPN 30 for 30 special on Christian Laettner.

no. I think he can bring energy & some athleticism off the bench & be more effective per minute since he played a lot more last year than he should have.

I don't see him as being that athletic. He doesn't move well laterally and he isn't an explosive leaper. I see him battling with Reed for the 2nd big off the bench spot.

Patrick Keim.
I love that dude.

Has anybody mentioned that Trayvon Reed completed his sentence for the shoplifting thing and was released from jail today?

He was sentenced to 15 days but I'm not sure how many he served. While I think it's lame he got any kind of jail time for a candy bar, I'm hoping the experience will help him grow up and boost his work ethic. I did 4 days in Lee County when I was younger and it did wonders for my behavior and drive.
