According to who? I can't find anything putting him in the top 100 for any recruiting site.

He had an impressive statline in HS though and seeing him go straight JUCO I imagine it was him not qualifying. Did that affect his rating?

I feel kind of dumb right now but this is what I get for skimming. His jersey # was 40 not his ranking.

This is his JuCo recruiting profile. I assumed he had high major offers based off of incorrectly thinking he was a top 50 recruit out of high school. Looks like a marginal D1 prospect based on his current offers.

Could just be that this Cromer kid is better than JUCO competition and can hit an open shot against porous JUCO D though.
Likely not. He was 10% better on 2 point shots also.

Don't know & don't care. Just pointed out he had the better season.

Columbia St has 4 perimeter players on their roster this season that will play D1 basketball at a high level.
Funny thing is Cromer was the best offensive player but doesn't have 1 quality offer.

It tells me he wasn't really their best player and benefited from others getting him open looks.

Very possible. The only factual thing is that he was the most efficient offensive player.

FWIW Hoke says AU's offer to High School big man Mike Edwards is soft. Priority is on a grad transfer big & this offer was to stay in touch so they can come back to ME if he's available & want him later.

...any estimation on when we'll now of who the additions are?

Should we expect news to drop on Purchase/Thompson soon (in the next ~2 weeks)?

Answers to those questions have not been posted by any AU reporters. If they had they would be in this thread now. We'll know on here when AU reporters know.

I was wrong on an earlier post. They do practice in late May & June & Pearl ran them per JGT.

Canty Scouting report from JGT
quote:

He's a taller, bigger Tahj in my eyes. He's fearless driving into the lane and very quick. He's a solid outside shooter; not a dominator out there. Will rebound some. He's a very assertive kid who clearly is a leader on the floor. And his work during the past year in practice has given him much credibility in the eyes of his teammates. He didn't dissociate himself from the team as some redshirt/transfer guys do. He stood alongside these guys every step of the way. He's a central part of this team.

It was near the beginning of the fall term last year before we knew the final roster and I don't think anyone thought that Logwood would be the one sent packing. I doubt it takes as long this year but it is a possibility.

I respect anyone who admits being wrong and then corrects themselves.

Why was Logwood sent packing? Some people thought grades but he qualified. He is going to be good

New offer out to Kyle Alexander

LINK

6'10" @kylejamal4 Alexander utilizes his 7'4.5" wingspan & crazy bounce to max out the Athlete Institute Vert Test, recording a 9'1.5" standing reach, 12'4" max reach with a 38.5" vertical leap! Absolutely insane physical and athletic measurements

Any guesses on our chance to land Alexander? He's signing in April?

I don't know anything about our chances but he is signing in the late period.

Are we looking to take a HS big man or a grad school transfer or just whatever we can get?
