I know the scholarship situation and need to process 1 at this point in time. I assume it is one of Atewe, Purchase and Thompson. If we had height, Granger could be thrown on that list TPOS

KT & Mason had 12 & 8% jumps in 3 point % made this year. Either those kids are naturally good or our staff is good w/ teaching 3s.

I only see Atewe getting processed due to medical reasons not playing ability. I jsut don't know if he will ever get to 100% on that leg again from what is being reported.

Granger is clearly superior to Purchase in post defense and even playing ability. Otherwise, we would have seen Purchase get minutes over Waddell, Thompson and Canada at 4. On top of not getting minutes, we might as well process now rather than commit a few years to him then show him the door.

I THINK Purchase was redshirted...
I could be wrong, but thats what I think.
He's a stretch 4, better shooter than Thompson and Granger. Just needs to get stronger and acclaimated to American game. I'd be shocked if he is processed

Purchase played and is not eligible for a redshift
Walk on kids get year to year scholarships and the understanding that it may get pulled. They didn't show up with a scholarship offer. That said it is last resort to pull a walkon scholarship

You need to have an injury to get a red shirt typically. Unless you know of an injury no one else does

Is this why purchase literally didn't play a second after the fifth or sixth game? I was always confused as to why he went from a consistent bench player to the white caboose.

His play time gradually got smaller as we went along. It wasn't like he was playing and then one game got shut off, iirc.
