My main point though is when people start throwing out the "filling needs" and "diamonds in the rough" crap it's a sure sign things aren't great.

you sir, are dumb.

Filling immediate needs is the most important thing you can do.

Our biggest immediate needs?

1. Middle linebacker. Tre Williams. oh yeah, he is the number 2 middle linebacker out there.

2. Big play receiver. D. Williams is the top JUCO receiver out there and a big get and Stanton Truit is going to be a legit big play slot guy with return abilities.

Backup quarterback for a year from now? Sean While won the Elite 11 and has been playing huge every week.

4. We have the number 1 JUCO safety committed and a top 15 corner committed.

When I say frivolous high star players, I mean signing 4 running backs when we need 2. I mean signing 7 offensive linemen when we need 3 just to pad numbers. Quality over quantity all day long.

#4 Stephen Roberts is playing QB for the Dawgs, #5 Malcolm Buggs is another to watch

#26 Marlon Humphries is the #1 player in the state

Starting QB broke his collarbone, so Roberts is playing ironman football right now

I haven't watched any highlights of him since he's still a Bama commit and I refuse to believe we can flip one of them

Does he normally play QB?

No. Not even remotely

It's the start of the second half and he's 1/1 with a TD.

I'm pretty worried about DT and Safety recruiting right now.

Tre seems to be taking Casher's rejection in stride.

If we manage to go into the Iron Bowl with 1 loss, i think we have a very good chance of ending up with Evans and Roberts to shore up the defensive backs. No idea what in the world we will do for defensive tackles though.

Evans is a Star and Roberts is a corner. I don't think either fills the need for a true safety. I haven't really heard any targets for that spot either.

Moncrief is a true safety and a good one and we have Ruffin also committed as a top notch corner.

Yeah I know. I would just like to have at least one HS safety in this class. And I don't see where that would come from right now.

Roberts or Demetruis Kemp depending on what else we get in the class.
