It happens, but that doesn't mean you stop going after those players. That is all I am saying. That is just the way it is in recruiting. By the way I like how you totally dismissed the ones I listed.
By the way if I recall coaches cut off Dee Liner before signing day. He hardly falls in the same category as Yeldon or Foster. Cyrus was a last minute surprise iirc. Brent Calloway (Thank you Peaches).

Like I said, I get shite whenever I mention it but it's my opinion and if I go back a page or two it's the opinion of many others that Thomas could easily flip to Bama at the first sign of interest
Also Lawson =/= Liner & Foster. As I stated earlier, there's a difference between guys who are sincerley struggling with their college choice and those that are just playing games.

This is fair. My thought process is that if we miss on him it's not the end of the world and it doesnt mean that the rb's we do sign are a lesser talent.
I couldnt tell you what college Alfred Morris played at or how many stars he had out of high school but I do know he we a strong contender for NFLOROY while playing on the same team as RGIII. Also Luke Kuchley (Cam's teammate), #7 2012 pick and the DROY played at BC and I dont think he was highly rated out of high school
I'd like to see these types of players at Auburn just as much as the 5* Parade All American guys and am therefore more open to moving on from guys like Thomas if we end up with a little known talent that exceeds expectations

No doubt Thomas could likely be the one to flip to Bama last minute. Again, he is still worth recruiting hard because Bama is slow playing him, and we just might cement our relationship with him and he holds. He is worth the effort and time because he is that good. We already have a stud in Pettway, and I am sure some back up RB's in case we miss Thomas.
Right now a lot of things look positive for Roc and AU. Recruiting is not for the weak of heart so if you are looking for a sure thing go buy a hooker.

Can someone post the new article where Deshaun Watson's coaches are saying he was not in Auburn? Sounds like they are just trying to keep the heat from Clemson off. He was definitely in Auburn according to multiple Auburn sources.

Watson needs to tell Dabo to get over that bad habit of crying when recruits visit other schools. Thats one of those things he shouldn't have picked up from saban. I wonder how many commits to other schools he is begging to visit up there?
