ESPN has this to say about AU's key targets
No Braden Smith but yes on Jordan Sims

Key targets: Auburn is almost done with this class, but ESPN 300 linebacker Rashaan Evans and defensive end Andrew Williams are still in the mix. So is offensive guard Jordan Sims of Birmingham, Ala.

Per my source it ain't over with Ronnie Clark could be working a package deal with Clark and Evens. They are very close and want to play together. Evens has been working Clark behind the scenes to flip to AU. Coaches are trying to get Clark on campus and get a silent from him so they can make arrangements (process) other guys they're looking at.

My guess would be Clemson and Yeargin is LB not OT

I think he meant off topic not OT. Also, I doubt we have room. If what AUtigr24 says is true, we will effectively have 2 LBs plus 2 more hybrid LBs in this class. More than enough to fill out our needs at LB

I would be floored if he flipped considering all of his real close buddies are at bama. With that said, I don't count these guys out as they seem to get who they want. What would be real interesting about that is they are both technically being recruited for the same position although I think Evans will end his career as an OLB.
Curious to see what happens with us and Harris. I gotta think this is a kid Craig wants AU to get and that would be why we are pursuing him. Gonna be really fun to see how this class ends. As it stands this is one of the most well rounded classes AU has assembled. Solid prospects at all positions with elite talent coming in at places of need

There are a bunch of guys flying under the radar who are going to be monsters too. Raashed Kennion reminds me of Dion Jordan out of high school. Kid has a freakish talent ceiling if he get do what Dee Ford did and live in the weight room

I thought we were after Clark as a safety. He'll probably end up about the same size as Moncrief. Oh man, if we could get a string of 220 or so lb safeties...

Clark is being recruited as Safety and rightfully so given that Whitehead is graduating

Clark is a safety but either Clark or Evans could slide into LB if it suits them better. Justin Garrett played DB in HS and moved to LB for instance (which was dumb)

Garrett was actually a LB in high school. He wasn't nearly as big as either Clark or Evans coming out of high school though. Maybe 185 lbs or so. I would have liked to have seen them try him at safety when he got to Auburn. He's still not that heavy at probably 215 or so.

He also played safety bro.

He very well may have, but OLB was his main position as a SR and he was recruited as a LB. He was the "other" LB that played with James Vaughters at Tucker.
bro.

I just know he played safety as well and was part of the reason he had been badgering for a move to the S position before Gus took over

I wish they'd have moved him. But alas, such is the wisdom of the former staff.
Rashaan Evans, Treon Harris and Dominick Sanders have arrived for official visits per AUC.

I believe they're expecting more, but these are the three who are there for officials as of now.
