We will have an OV this weekend from a prospect committed elsewhere this weekend that either hasn't been brought up (Haven't seen it past the SW height discussion) or rarely talked about.

Alright, guys - haven't been around much lately, probably won't be unless I just do a swing by post or two. I talked to my source about some things today regarding RaShaan Evans and Racean Thomas.
RaShaan Evans: Auburn is still the leader here, and has been for a while. His visit to Alabama won't mean much, it's just something his parents (mom, specifically) have been pushing. They want him to take all of his visits. Otherwise, he would already be committed to Auburn. He's tight with all of our commits already. And, even if Alabama somehow changes all of that the 17th, Auburn gets the visit on the 24th. And let's say he doesn't visit Auburn, who cares? He's been to Auburn more than any other recruit. No worries on my end.
Racean Thomas: Racean Thomas is still committed to Auburn, and a visit from Lane Kiffin won't change anything. Racean Thomas is smarter than to fall for something that snake has to sell. I'm sure it's been posted, but an Oxford High School coach basically told Lane Kiffin that Racean Thomas was solid (saw that on The Bunker). I also saw these from his Twitter account:

No. Not everything is supposed to be out in the open. Making these things public is a good way for coaches to convince kids not to come.
Just making the point that the visitor list JHoke and such are going to put at leading up likely will be limited for awhile.
This is supposed to be as big a weekend as Bic Cat Weekend from what it sounds like. Going to be awesome

I was drinking beers at my weekly coaches poker night at my house this past weekend and my best friend Gus Malzahn told me some inside news. He said we have a silent verbal from a top 1,000 recruit who will be flipping from a division 1 school to us. I can't tell you who the kid is because Gus said he wanted to remain silent. Sorry guys. I will tell you signing day afternoon.

Just making the point we should have additional visitors that aren't being mentioned

Keep doing your thing, man.
I know there are 16 official visitors this weekend, and am trying to confirm the prospect you are referring to.

16 is right. (Or at least is planned of course) Guy I am talking about gets mentioned occasionally but I need to see if pay sites are reporting him yet. Didn't a couple days ago
Btw, how sure are you about Evans? I haven't heard the confidence you have from people.

I just got confirmation on the prospect you were referring to I think. Check my profile and shoot me an email and I'll see if we have the same guy.

A couple of things of note on Braden Smith per AUR. The plan is for Braden and his dad to both visit Auburn. That could be important or not. The original plan was just Braden on all his OVs. The Smith family has been to the other 2 finalists multiple times so it may not be important if Auburn gets the only parental OV but at the very least they are serious About Auburn.
Also Smith's High School runs the Wing-T which basically uses the same blocking schemes as we do. Here is an interesting quote from the high school HC the day after the Iron Bowl to Braden before we even knew there was anything between AU and Braden, "I said, 'you need to go to Auburn, you already know their offense."
