To me, it seems like Carl is looking for an excuse to get out of his AU commitment.
Seems to me it's a courtesy visit to two coaches he's got a good relationship with. They're probably taking him to Pin Ups too, so why not.

Seriously, what's up with this kid?
He wants to visit USF. He lives about an hour away. Probably knows some people there. What's the issue?

If that's the case Im sure he's been there plenty of times before. He just seems all over the place right know.
There's no reason he has to announce on NSD, maybe he should take his time and evaluate his options before making a final decision.

Yeah, he's probably been there and stayed on friends couches, not a good hotel room with a nice night out on the town for free.
He's been one of the most non-vocal prospects throughout the whole recruiting process, so I wouldn't put much thought into him taking a visit to USF.

May just be me, but those medallions that SBnation uses for the teams are pretty cool. Nice design, if a little Atlas Shrugged-ish.
