what has this man done for Auburn?

. He goes right back to the pros, who cares?

I didn't know who he was before and I'll forget about him the second he's gone. God!

Good god, people, what has this man done for Auburn? Nothing. Not one fricking thing. He goes right back to the pros, who cares? I didn't know who he was before and I'll forget about him the second he's gone. God!
Well, he screwed us over 2 weeks before NSD and a couple days before our big RB recruits visit. It's hard to recruit a RB when we don't have a RB coach. It also looks bad for Auburn to have a coach jump ship a month after he was hired. Do you expect people to not be pissed?

I honestly thought most of yall said we had no chance on most of these RB targets

Our chances with any of them basically go to zero without a position coach.
Silver lining is Gus runs this offense, he can explain exactly how we will use a RB. His job recruiting RBs just got incredibly harder though.

So who's next??? Move horton over and rehire boulware is what I'd like to see get done, but what are the chances that Boulware would come back?

The recruits don't know this guy, which is the main problem we're having with this entire class, guys: Relationships.
What don't y'all get about this concept? This one coach doesn't matter a hill of beans. Period. If he moves on, he moves on. No harm done.

Guys get your damn panties out of your arses. Rich was not here long enough to have much of an impact on RB recruits. We are going to get whoever we are going to get regardless of if he is the RB coach or not. As KK astutely pointed out on twitter we already have a succesful RB coach and solid recruiter in Coach Horton. We slide him to RBs and put Scott Fountain, who is a very good recruiter, at TEs and won't miss a beat.

But this is the second guy green has been left by and that hurts especially since the guy just told him why he should play for him today. To-frickin-day. The last chance auburn has to get his signature and then his coach leaves not even a few hours later. It matters a whole helluvalot. And he's the one who got folston to consider auburn so he's as good as gone as well.

We need someone who has experience in putting togther solid special teams though.

We were not getting Green anyway after the 3-9 season and Luper being fired so you can stop with the overreaction now.

I don't see it as an overreaction. I see it as very legit points. Green was considering UM, UT, and, AU all very strongly. The hire of Bisaccia gave us another chance. And then he left. It just makes sense.

quote:We already have one damn good one in CAP. While the coaches want 2 more RBs they may only get 1. The coaches will go after guys Tenpenny and Folston but Ford is and has been our best chance at getting another RB and he is good. Don't get me wrong. I am as pissed as anyone about RB leaving Auburn like he is but there is no point airing it out on a recruiting thread given he has only been here 3 weeks and had very little affect on recruiting. Other threads can be created to vent about him leaving and vent there.

You sure do take things personally on here. Might need to take a break.

Nebraska pushing the NCAA sanctions card on Auburn still.
They were trying to tell me the bad things-- trying to persuade me why I should go to their school. But I didn't understand that. They can say anything, but it's been two or three years since Cam Newton and nothing has happened."
Sounds like Dominic Walker will make a decision pretty soon.
