-star DT Montravius Adams from Dooly County in Vienna, Ga., said Auburn hiring Rodney Garner makes a big difference in his recruitment and he'll probably visit Auburn now. He said he is close to Garner and he's a coach he could see himself playing for 3-4 years. He was a little surprised by the news and hadn't totally processed it but I'll have a complete story up in about 30 minutes

"I've been liking Gus Malzahn for the longest time. But I didn't know who they were going to hire at defensive line coach. Since they made that decision and it's Coach Garner, I'm taking my last visit to Auburn," Johnson said.

Hoke said the Garner hire wouldn't have a positive impact on Lawson, there is a reason he never considered UGA. But he really likes Auburn, and we'll take all his visits.

He did have somewhat of a delusional attachment to MPelton. So his judgment might be just a touch suspect.

Lawson never considered UGA despite living in Georgia. I don't know if he was the reason or not but it could be.

Lawson's dad played at Georgia Tech during their national championship season in 1990.
