Dude on ITAT who seems to have a good source says Liner is officially off of the team.

Doesn't bother me one bit. As long as he is OK when he gets to Auburn, and never causes any trouble.

Personally not a fan of him sitting out a year but oh well. Never a good summer when you are arrested twice and dismissed from your high school football team.

Our coaches better be in his ear right now telling him to do whatever it takes to get back on the team. Idle hands and whatnot

Seems like the Liner & Robinson news put a downer on the thread

On the bright side - What's the earliest we could expect him back Auburn? He seems like a solid kid going all the way back to interview he did following the Yeldon flip. I would like to have him back by summer?

Re QB: is it possible Chizik is playing Jedi mind tricks with us all & is being publicly negative as extra motivation for Kiehl?

I hate to say it, but the news that has come out about this kid all points to trouble down the road. I hope I'm wrong on that, but not getting my hopes up. Getting the same vibe from him that I got from Zeke Pike when he was in high school.

When has Chizik said anything but coachspeak? Did I miss an interview or something...

There's no advantage to saying everything went great. The players can start thinking they don't need to try to get better and everyone raises their expectation of what you are going to do.

This. I hope Dee gets himself together. He has a ton of talent. Just getting tired of all the negative publicity that has surrounded our program for the last couple of years

Frunk does sound German

On a semi-positive note, this Robinson situation has opened up a scholly spot right?
