We probably weren't coming back but Canty and his stubbornness made sure it wasn't an option. Some days you play like shite, forcing up shitty shots only make it worse

We had a chance when we had it to 12 a few minutes ago then the refs went full retard on us. Canty trying to drive but gets no calls in the lane with a lot of contact.

People have found out that a 1-3-1 anally fists us. Other than Canty, no one is a consistent 3pt shooter so they congest the lane and guard Canty close

Yep, but fortunately not many people have a 6'8 guy that can guard like that. Lang is going to have to step up. I feel like Brown is so close to being a really good scorer, just isn't having many fall and takes some dumb shots.

No doubt. And while we're playing the what if game lets go ahead get Chris Denson in there since we need point guards. Maybe extend Frankie Sullivan and Kenny Gabriel's eligibility for the hell of it.

Now that we're done being silly, I for one am pleased with the overall direction of the program all things considered. Remember that Pearl only has two Barbee guys left, neither of whom start and one who is injured. And only 4 guys left from last year. Pearls had to basically rebuild this team two straight years and is still getting great players to commit without great results. We really couldn't ask for much more.

And what point is that? I was more talking about last year had Canty been eligible. KT would help this year but it wouldn't change the fact that we have no low game.

That it's pointless to bring up. Nice to think about, but that's it. Both are nice players and can score, but KT wouldn't make a huge difference on this team and Canty wouldn't have made a huge difference last year. We had Frankie and Denson at the same time, who are comparable, and that did us a whole lot of good. The only way one player makes and real difference with this team is a solid 5 or a truly elite guy like a Ben Simmons.
