It's refreshed to reflect yesterday's blowout and our big wins at home

Hoping we can pick off 2 of those. 3-3 would be fantastic.

I could see Okie St, 1/3 (OM,UGA,UTk), 1/2 LSU/Vandy for 3-3
Oklahoma St though has played some good teams real tough though.
I like one of LSU/Vandy at home. We do better at home and both LSU/Vandy struggle on the road (6/7 L for LSU, 6/8 Ls for Vandy on road). We shouldn't win those games, but I have the feeling we have a shot
Ole Miss has had some bad injuries issues. Stefan Moody leading SEC PPG has some hamstring issues that caused him to miss State game. Sebastian Saiz who has near a double-double avg also is expected to miss the Auburn game.
UGA is a solid team but I think we match up decently vs them. We would need Bowers to play hard and well in the post though.
UTk all depends on if Punter can be good enough to beat us. We saw last time he definitely has the talent and it will be at home.

Pearl said in his presser that he hopes to hear at end of this week or beginning of next week the details regarding Purifoy.
Fingers crossed :jump1:

It's no mystery that we're a completely different team at home. As long as we're playing in AA, we can knock off anyone in the SEC. It's our road play that I really wanna see improve.

Before was getting a decision if they accepted test score.
Supposedly he retook the exam and is waiting on results + clearinghouse processing once results are in hand.
I feel the same way but I can at least see some actual reason as to why we would get new info

Never mind. Just saw it was tomorrow.

Purifoy comes back in time for the SEC tourney...we win and make it to the dance haha.
Does anyone know anymore about OM's injuries tomorrow?

quote:I know it was a joke, but I still think some people might have expectations for Purifoy that are too high in the short term. Kid is a freshman that has never played college basketball. He is extremely talented, but he isn't Ben Simmons. He would hopefully be an adequate replacement for Dunans though.

Guy who works with basketball said in practice, he is the best player on an AU court since Marquise Daniels.
Lot of guys don't translate to the game, but his physical ability alone is an asset we are currently missing from what is healthy on our roster

He is definitely the best pro prospect since Daniels, I just doubt he is ready to take the sec by storm jumping into the middle of the season. I hope he is though.

Tipoff coming at the top of the hour at Ole Miss copy of Auburn Arena

And to add...
Last year everyone was saying Canty was the best player, and they were right.
Still, I'm keeping my expectations for DP down, but he'll certainly help.

Well we haven't had many great players since Daniels. Being the best since him isnt a high bar

Bowers
Such a nice move. Such a makeable shot and he misses layup + tip in 2nd chance
