The result is predictable every time he steps on the mound. He is just awful.

I know the players like him and he was a good bridge for this period, but he's a miserable in game manager. It's time to move on from the Cox tree.

This. The answer is simple. He sucks. We missed out on Bud Black because of this bum.

And Torey Lovullo.

I'm not a guy who thinks you need Tony LaRussa or Joe Maddon tweaking everything and doing quirky things to be a good manager, but Snitker doesn't even seem like he's trying sometimes. He consistently pitches LOOGY guys for full innings (Sam Freeman vs Goldy a few weeks ago being the best example) and his lineups are a joke (Nick Markakis should never, ever be hitting cleanup). Is it that difficult to find a manager who is good with players and can just generally make lineups and run a bullpen by the 2017 playbook? It's not hard. You don't have to deep dive into analytics.

I mean I feel like the bar is pretty low here and he doesn't clear it.

Never been a fan of Bud Black, but our next manager is hopefully already on the coach staff, Ron Washington.

Won 2 AL Pennants, took the team to the playoffs another year, and won 90 games 4 times in his 7 full years in Texas. The players love him. He's a damn good coach/teacher, whatever you want to call it. Just likes to do a little blow every now and then.

The guy is a joke.

If Acuna was promoted and he was not given a directive by the FO he would likely be a 4th OF with Snitker's loyalty to vets.

I'm convinced the FO forced him to pitch Akeel Morris. He was on the roster for like 10 days and had 1 outing in a blowout.

The whole batting Markakis 4th when Kemp was hurt is the weirdest stupidest fvckin thing I can remember. His ISO is .120, good enough for 11th on the roster amongst guys with 50 PAs.

Behind : Freeman, M. Adams, Suzuki, Albies, Kemp, Flowers, Camargo, Santana, B. Phillips and LAne Adams.

And he was hitting CLEANUP. Fvckin ridiculous.

Snitker also has an unhealthy love affair with the sac bunt

This love affair caused me to have a couple of anger strokes early in the season.

Exactly half of what I said!

Winkler bailed his arse out big time. He left the game with the bases loaded and one out. Winkler got the next two outs while only giving up one run on a sac fly.
