Many are claiming they don't want him and would stop being a fan if he's signed. Of course, its Twitter so who knows.

I'm on team Watson. Matt has been great. Love the guy, but if Watson wants to qb in ATL count me in.

The don't hire a bad guy routine makes zero sense to me. When you employ 80 athletes some will be angels and some won't.

Edit. We aren't talking the gator teams Urban put together here.

The guy had 20+ accusations of sexual assault brought against him. He's a creep.

Hard pass.

I don't doubt he's done or said some crazy things. But if he sexually assaulted 20 women he'd be on trial.

Ultimately though I trust they would do their research and know he's not a straight up Epstein.

28-26 record as a starter so let’s hold off on the he’s a winner stuff for a minute. In your defense though technically he is a winner at a 52% rate. Last two seasons Texans won 8 games 4 with him 4 without him.

You can't hold that record against him. The Texans are a clusterfrick.

Dude is a top-6 QB.

The question on Watson is whether he is willing to come to ATL and sit on the bench behind Ryan for 1year. I don't think he is willing to do that nor can Atlanta really afford to pay him what the Browns probably will.

My best guess is Watson wants Atlanta and believes it's a great place for him to rebuild his image.

New Orleans gives him a better chance to win now and Carolina can pay the most.

Should be interesting.

Are you so sure Ryan has the starting job locked down?

And the falcons are what exactly? Those houston teams had a lot of talent.

Based on salary alone, yes. Maybe Watson beats him out but doubt Watson takes that chance given everything else.

Matt will be traded after June 1 if we land Watson.

I think he’s gone regardless at this point.

Watson's cap #s aside, how would trading Matt Ryan affect his cap hit to ATL for this year and the next 2(?) that he's on the books for currently? Guess the future team could take some but doesn't this years cap hit to ATL remain?

It's less after June 1. But there will be a Cap hit if he's traded.

It would surely please the ITPers still sucking off Vick.
