Since the other thread isn't getting updated, maybe we should just do a weekly game thread instead.

I was trying to find something funny about the Phillies to put in here and came across this stroke of genius. Must have been written by WhiteMandingo himself:

I have zero hope for the falcons. Piss poor defense last week and we can't block for shite.

Go Braves, Hawks and Dawgs. To hell with the Falcons. This front office has drafted and paid bust after bust.

The Brotherhood rings empty now and no one has played with any heart since the SB collapse.

LMAO one week bro, chill. If you still have faith in cheering for UGA football after Terrence Edwards drop, getting crushed in Knoxville in '07, and seeing Alabama rip your heart out in 2012, 2017, and 2018 with the help of truly laughable coaching blunders... you can withstand one piss-poor performance.

UGA has had 3 times as many quality perfomances to offset our heartbreaks.

The Falcons have had one stellar season. ONE.

Give me one takeaway from O-Line the last two seasons that should give me hope? Or the D-Line. I will be at the game Sunday but I'm going to it with zero positive expectations.

Only blind hope

Didn’t UGA get blasted by Texas after losing the SEC title game? Inspiring.

Either way, if you’re not riding with the Falcons, hop your 1980 arse outta here. It’s a 16 game season. Ain’t got time for negativity.

Yeah, we're cool with it. We've never missed the playoffs - and only once missed the national title game. Looking forward to being back at it this year.

lol at comparing a meaningless Sugar Bowl against a mediocre Texas squad to the national championship game.

And yes I'm aware Tech sucks and is irrelevant to idiots like yourself.

1980....lol

what is free rent? there is either rent or there is no rent. you wouldn't go around saying "free mortgage" would you?

nice of you to show back up over here, though. do you have some inner desire to be an Atlanta sports fan? talk about "free rent" lmao.

Im always on your mind and it cost me zero.

I despise atlanta.

I bet that mls championship parade was crazy, all the White Claw hard seltzer and dick you can put down you're throat.

Enjoy the loss on Sunday night. I think it will be a high scoring game but the eagles pull it out late. Dont worry you're partner can comfort you afterwards.

I’d hate Atlanta too if I came crawling out of that shithole at the bottom of the map.

Macon, Georgia is a better city than New Orleans.

Never been to Macon I heard it has a traditional southern small town feel.

Successful in which ways.

Birth place of Jazz
Jazzfest
Mardi Gras
Sugar Bowl
French Quarter
Best food in America
And a top 5 US tourist destination

The city of New Orleans has plenty bad but fortunately it has plenty good.

Also New Orleans isn't transplants the people here have been here for generations. Atlanta not so much, it's a transient city.

This argument is lazy and tired, like the economy in Louisiana.

So what we have transplants? Who cares if people move here in droves? I think it’s awesome. It means people WANT TO BE HERE. It’s not something forced upon you like shitty infrastructure and terrible education is in Louisiana, where escape is almost a necessity for betterment.

I hope people keep coming here. We’ve got an incredible economy, renowned music and entertainment scene, home to some of the world’s best companies and famous brands, and have done so without ruining the fabric of what makes us, us.

New Orleans loves to talk about their unique culture, yet, it’s Migos and Donald Glover rolling out Emmy shows literally named “Atlanta,” and Grammy nominated albums titled, “Culture.”

New Orleans is a fun place to visit. You go, eat great food, drink like a fish, make dumb decisions, than leave. Make no mistake on that last part - you leave. The idea that NOLA is this massive, unmistakeable American landmark is greatly overstated by people in Louisiana. Your state is an embarrassment. There isn’t a major category in the United States paradigm of success you aren’t a bottom 5 drain on.

I could go on about the disillusionment about your place in the world, but I think you get the picture.

I’ve met a lot of Saints fans in Atlanta - usually because they drive my Ubers. Aside from the usual Falcons-Saints banter (most pretty jovial), I ask them what brings them up here. The answer is almost always the same - better job opportunities, better schools.

It is not lost on me you had a better professional football season last year. But don’t let it be lost on you that New Orleans is a liability, not an asset on the American balance sheet.

Get fricked.

Drafting has been the biggest strength of the Quinn era by a mile. Are you one of those fans who doesn't like the Falcons because they don't draft Georgia players?
