Trade Matt Ryan for some picks. Sign a decent QB and draft a QB. Replace OL.

Read up on salary cap hits and report back. This isn't FFL.

We've been doing that for 3 years.

who would trade anything of value from an overpriced, aging QB.....

we just need to blow it up and start over. hardly have anything to even build around

We need to get rid of Ryan and use any money saved toward signing Freddie Freeman.

Ryan has declined but we can’t trade him or let him walk. We’ve invested too much $$ into his latest signing. Sorry, but he’s a falcons for at least another 2 seasons.
Now I wouldn’t mind drafting a qb who could be molded as a replacement but that idea seems dated now. I can’t think of a draft worthy qb in this years class though.

Plus we couldn't lose correctly even if we tried.

Jags and Lions are going to run away with the top selections, and we all know the Falcons love forsaking draft order for meaningless end of season wins.

I truly don't see a path to a rebuild that doesn't take at least 4-5 years.

The Falcons have a good core of players, and, I legit think if folks are unimpressed with Matt Corral we could snag him in early teens. I think he’s as underrated as they come and he lifts the profile of his team around him in a way few can.

Otherwise, Ryan is actually playing like a top-10 QB, AJ Terrell is a top-5 corner, Pitts is a unicorn, Grady is a top-end D-lineman… I mean, Ridley is out but when he plays he’s quite good.

There’s talent here, but plainly, RB and defense need to be addressed as soon as humanly possible. Really hope Richie Grant gets better.

Unless something has changed I don’t know about he can be released after 22.

It's called the salary cap and a cap hit(dead money). Read up on it.

Kenny Pickett of Pitt. He's pretty much it, though.

You have no idea how the salary cap and dead money works, do you?
