Am I the only one expecting a better than the experts think game tonight? Huge Saints fan here, and not trolling, but rivalry games get weird. Don't get me wrong, I hate the Dirty Birds as much as the next (and I know this is an ATL Sports Board), but I have the weird feeling the Falcons give us all we want tonight. Call it overconfidence from our side or ATL not wanting to lay down on the holiday against their biggest rival, call it what you want, I think it's close. Rivalry games get weird.
P.S. New to the boards in general. Born on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and raised a Saints fan, but wife is from Atlanta and whole family are all big ATL Sports people. I have adopted that with our impending move here, except for the Falcons. Never.
Here's to a great game tonight, but a Saints win so I can talk trash to my in-laws.

We really just aren't a good team. I don't see how the defense holds NO to less than 30 and I don't have faith in the offense to score 30.

I don't. The defense is just so banged up and the pass rush has completely disappeared since the Redskins game

I guess my years of Saints-dom have conditioned me to always expect the worst when the stage is big or we are “supposed” to do something good.
Personally I hope we drub the Falcons all the way back to Flowery Branch, but I can’t bank on anything with the Saints.

Julio can't go holding out for a new contract and then have fumbles like that and drops like he had vs Carolina and Philadelphia last year. He's been a great player but at this point, let him walk and spend the money elsewhere.

If Drew Breeze doesn't make at least double what Matt Ryan does we are idiots. I know our offensive line can't block four rushers but Breeze's leadership skills are impeccable.
