I was there for Game 2 and this is exactly what made me think of this. I was convinced the crowd noise was going to frick up Folty's rhythm. But you are correct - he definitely seem to channel it the right way and feed off it positively. Maybe in baseball it's really just a matter of knowing that the 40k screaming are wanting you succeed versus wanting you to fail.
