Win, win for everyone. Sanu gets to go get a ring, and we get a #2 for a #3 wr.

Trades like this give me pause on firing Dimitroff.

To his credit, he pulled off the gutsy trade to grab Julio. Picked Matt Ryan, and somehow pulled of the 2016 draft.

For all of his faults, he generally does get days 1&2 right.

Only downright failures in that lot have been Peria Jerry, and to a lesser extent, Vic Beasley.

I think this season was a coaching disaster for Quinn. I don't think it has to do with him as a person, but as a man in charge of running an organization.

The Koetter hire made no sense. Sark really wasn't bad at all. His offenses were top 5-10 both years. The Manuel thing only works if you get a replacement. Sorry, but you can't coordinate and coach at the same time in the long-run. It's a recipe for disaster. It works in short spurts, but you just burn yourself out to quick, and the work gets shoddy.

I hope Dan lands somewhere good. He is a great dude, brings a lot of energy, but at this point, somethings aren't salvageable.

If you think Ryan is the problem then I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah I think fans tend to get lost in the moment. The NFL is a funny game but one thing always holds true, a bad OL will always bring down even the best QBs. You just can't be successful if your OL sucks. If you watch the best QBs (Rodgers, Brees, Brady, etc etc), they put up just as many bad games as our QB does.

the only way you can even think about getting rid of Ryan is if you have 100% confidence that you can use the savings to load up your roster for a good 5 year run AND draft another franchise QB immediately so that you win a Super Bowl before that QB is due to get paid.

Since neither are givens with this current administration then you have no choice but to keep him. I have no desire to end up like the fricking Dolphins

Am I wrong that they can’t really move Ryan or Julio or Grady? Depending on the player wouldn’t somewhere between 30 and 60 million (per player depending on contract) be instantly accelerated into the cap as dead money in signing bonuses?

Fortunately, those players, in order, are the 3 I would mark as "do not move, under any circumstances."

I could be talked into moving Julio. All that money going to a WR would be better served building depth at more important positions, like the lines of scrimmage and secondary.

I’d say get some decent starters before worrying about depth.

Yes. My point stands that lines of scrimmage and secondary play are more important than paying a 30 year old WR $64M guaranteed.
