NFL Draft: Late round QB options

If we assume the Falcons are not going QB in round 1 and are going to stick with Matt for two more years minimum. They might grab a guy in a later round and hope to strike gold.

If that is the strategy. Which one on this list do you take?

Jamie Newman (Wake Forest)
Kyle Trask (Florida)
Kellen Mond (Texas A&M)
Sam Ehlinger (Texas)
Ian Book (Notre Dame)
KJ Costello (Mississippi State)

At that point, you're looking for a backup and you aren't likely to find a viable NFL starter. With that in mind, I would take Trask easily out of the options in that group.

Of that list Sam Ehlinger but my preference is Brady White from Memphis.

Either Trask or Mond for me.

My first gut feeling was Mond. Just with the idea that if he could figure it out, he has highest ceiling.

If they could grab Mond in the middle rounds, and coach him up/let him learn under Ryan, he definitely has the talent to be a NFL starter. He'd be a good get.
