mean....y’all do

We've taken our share for sure.

It's just a tired narrative. The Saints don't take LSU guys, the Steelers don't take Penn St./Pitt guys, etc. It's the same everywhere.

It's a lazy/ignorant argument.

I really want Wilson. Didnt mean to end up with so many UGA players, but they all fill needs.

Just did another one.

Traded #4 overall to CIN for #5 overall and CIN 2022 1st.

Traded #5 and #68 overall to PHI for #6 and #37 overall.

Traded #99 overall to DEN for #105 and #167 overall.

6. Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
35. Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
37. Carlos Basham, EDGE, Wake Forest
105. Trey Sermon, RB, Ohio St
132. Nico Collins, WR, Michigan
163. Ben Cleveland, G, Georgia
167. Richard LeCounte, S, Georgia

Came away with this haul and Cincinnati's 2022 1st rounder. Easily the best one I've done so far.

I would look to bring Dennard back on another 1 year deal this offseason as well.

Barmore and Basham are rotation players as rookies. Sermon and Cleveland step in as immediate starters. Collins is a depth player who eventually takes the WR3 role when Julio is inevitably traded. LeCounte provides safety depth with upside.

If we could trade back and still grab Wilson at 6, we could really land an impressive draft haul

QB may not be the biggest need, but it would be hard to pass on one with a 4th pick and Ryan getting older. Then again, Ryan is Arthur Smith's type of QB.

Figure we need one more tank season to fully address qb in 2022 draft.

I like the thought but the 2022 QB draft class looks weak.

Howell @UNC, Rattler @OU, and Slovis @USC. Kind of a crapshoot at qb. Maybe a Josh Allen emerges out of nowhere. Going with the Dolphins approach of amassing as many picks as possible.

I'd rather go with Wilson than Fields.

Fields issues against teams that cover up his first option terrifies me.

I get that, but I took what was available to me in that mock draft. Cincinnati offered their 2022 1st to move up from 5 to 4. They aren't taking a QB. They moved up for Penei Sewell.

Philadelphia offered another good package to move up from 6 to 5. I knew they also weren't taking a QB. They went with Devonta Smith.

If it was a team who I thought was looking to move up for a QB, I would have rejected the trade.

Also, Terry Fontenot is official.

I'd love to be able to add a guy like Sermon or Stevenson in the 3rd/4th round.
