Agree. DT, CB, S for sure. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw another trade up into round 2 tomorrow night. Hopefully they don't mortgage future drafts in the process since Quinn is basically on the hot seat. Read somewhere that they liked Jaylon Ferguson out of LA Tech. Would probably have to trade up again for him.

Does the Falcon GM want to get fired? Traded away 2nd and 3rd round picks for not even the best OL available.

I don't remember him specifically but I remember UW being solid up front on both sides of the ball.

The day after and I'm pleased with the picks. We have the offensive weapons and this will give Matt Ryan more time.

I’m actually shocked that TD was practical this year. If Matt is protected, we can beat anyone. Assuming Devonta bounces back, our offense bout to set some records.

I'm betting that was more Arthur Blank involvement. He made it clear he wanted better protection for his QB.

We still have 7 picks remaining. I guess we could use a few higher round picks and trade for something in the second or third.

Also allows us to have the 5th year option in case McGary works out well.

I like the picks. I expect us to go all defense with a RB from here on out.

I expect a mid round WR as well

I'm pleased as well but there seems to be LOTS of talent left out there that'll be gone by the time we pick again.Hopefully we can trade back up to get a 2nd.

Might cost a fortune to get back into the 2nd round but round 3 is a possibility. We've got two picks in each of the 4th, 5th and 6th rounds so some draft capital. Several run stuffing DT's should be available late round 3 and round 4. Isiah Johnson is a corner they brought in for a visit that could be available in that 3rd-4th round area as well. They need to address both spots on D.

See.
That’s how you do it.

In the second round, we get a first round talent, center/guard that will play for us the next 10 years.

I like the first round picks. The only thing I don't like is that it looks like they're all in on Bustley as a pass rusher this year.

We picked them in the first round, they will be expected to start day one

They got the OT that was highest on their board. They obviously didn't think they were as good of fits.

Ya think? They damn well better be ready to start especially McGary...we paid a pretty steep price for em considering the talent that was still out there.

NFL.com Power Rankings

#1. Saints

#17. Falcons

Post draft Saints moved up from #2 and the Falcons dropped from #16

Nice offseason for the good guys.

That's every Aints fan ever. They all work in the plant making $12/hour in the poorest state in America. The Aints are literally all those people have.

I’m a lot of things, but “a sad sack of shite” is not one of them.

Y’all just have to accept the fact that the Saints are the best team in the NFL.
