FS - Keanu Neal
RCB - Desmond Trufant
NB - Brian Poole

On paper this team does look good. Still some questions though. Is TRU back to 100% and not hesitant?
Will Duke Riley be bad for the 1st half of the season? Probably, he's a rookie.
Has Alford improved?
Will Poe play well and be disruptive? Or just content cause he got his $$$?
Will Takk even play the 1st few games?

But then again, we have depth so most of those questions should be ok with resolutions even if the answer is no to most of those questions.

Most teams in the NFL have a lot more holes than ATL does on Defense, so I'll take it though!

Cannot believe that in 3 years we have gone from soft and slow to this. Unreal.

Drafting well and maximizing talent with schemes goes a LONG way.

Sure, we're all still bummed about the Super Bowl but how about some damned perspective. That was DQ's 2nd season with like 4 rookies starting on Defense.

DQ singlehandedly bought himself 5 more years of HC leeway by doing what he did in the 2nd half of that season. We went on a fricking tear and it was primarily due to the Defense getting unbelievably better in the 2nd half of the season after DQ took over play calling on D.

Maybe it's because I've been in Atlanta for over 30 years and am used to it, but I've honestly not really thought about the Super Bowl at all after a week or so afterwards. Maybe Atlanta sports teams have just desensitized me to it over the years...

I think it was a bit easier because football just kind of ended and so it was over just like that. However, it definitely took me until about 3-4 weeks ago to completely flush it. I mean, even in the grand scope of Atlanta collapses, that one won out.

My hope is that these guys come out like rabbis infected dogs on defense this season.

Jalen Collins suspended 10 games for PEDs, he has really showed good decision making skills in his young career. I wouldn't be surprised if he's released.

Had heard he was already in Quinns dog house for showing up out of shape. He had been working with 3rd stringers....or they knew this was coming down

Would be my guess. He has all the talent you could ask for, just lacking between the ears. Doubt we cut him though, still in rookie contract so he's cheap and as we saw the last game we played you can never have too much depth in secondary.

My lil homie Josh Magee, WR from South Alabama has been showing out in training camp.

One player looking to lock up one of the very few receiver spots available is Josh Magee. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound rookie out of South Alabama may be hard to spot at first, but he's come up with some eye-catching plays so far this preseason.

During one of the 11-on-11 periods Friday evening, Magee cut across the middle of the field and fully-extended to make a contested catch against cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson. He may be smaller, but Magee certainly isn't afraid to go over the middle and make a tough catch.

(Video in link of catch)

Realistically I don't expect him to make it past the practice squad, but he's come a loooong way to be an almost 26 yr old rookie. Played 3 years of minor league baseball out of HS (his dad played 10 yrs in the majors) and worked off-seasons at a carwash. After the minors he went to UAB and began breaking in 2014 but they disbanded the program so he went to South Alabama and was a star there.

Vaughn McClure isn't happy with Jalen's stupid arse.

So what I don't get is physically looking at Collins. I could see if he failed for weed but PEDs? I'm more muscular than Collins by a long shot. He's not taking the right PEDs.

PEDs could mean a number of different substances. It isn't always related to enhancing physical appearance or abilities.
