They’ll have a top 10 pick and significant cap space. Will Pees stay? Will we roll with Ridder or sign a FA? Hoping for good moves from Fontenot and Smith.

I believe they will identify good talent in the draft and value in FA. Can't ask for much more than that in the off-season.

There is no reason ATL should miss the playoffs next year. It's time to get back there.

8th pick in the 2023 draft

1 Chicago
2 Houston
3 Arizona
4 Indy
5 Seattle (from Denver)
6 Detroit (from LA)
7 Vegas
8 Atlanta

2 ahead of ATL will almost certainly take QB and possibly 3.

Seems unlikely TF would take QB at that spot. Would they trade up to 1 with Chicago and take Bryce?

I hope not. I think they’ll go the FA route. 8 needs to be best defensive player available.

They need to beef up the lines of scrimmage (as always) but I'm sure they'll fall in love with Quentin Johnston or someone like that because he's big. The Falcons can't help themselves. They've always fallen in love with the shiny objects (skill players) while ignoring the trenches. Championship teams are built on the lines of scrimmage, so it isn't surprising that the Falcons consistently choose to ignore it.

I hope Smith and Fontenot aren't tied at the hip or something because Smith has done a decent job with what he's had to work with, but Fontenot's drafting has been shite.

I’m guessing USC WR.

I think the jury is still out on this. I've seen flashes that the Penn St kid and the white athletic freak might be impact players.

I agree that the jury is still out. Questionable decisions but have looked ok in hindsight.

Last draft looks pretty solid so far.

London's alright. I personally think you should be aiming for more than an underneath, move the chains kind of guy at #8 overall but he'll be a solid part of a passing game.

I still think they should have taken Jordan Davis in that spot, but instead it was year 55 of Falcons franchise history where they don't address the run defense. I fully expect them to take yet another skill player in the first round and leave the trenches neglected as usual, because that's what 56 years of history tells me they're going to do.

Davis would have been great there, but with Jarrett I guess they decided they couldn't spend first rd money on the other interior player.

I do think #8 was a bit high, but I do understand why Smith would value him a little more than others as London fits his offense well.

IMO, they saw the Jags go full retard with the Christian Kirk contract, other teams go similarly full retard with WRs, and then panicked and took London in the top 10.

This is just wrong and overreationary. You're better than this.

His first draft seems meh, I'll grant that. But this last draft seems pretty promising.

Saying that, it's still way too early to make a judgement either way on Fontenot and his drafts.

Smith wants to play basketball on the football field w/his WR's and London fits that to a "T".

And he had a really good rookie season.
