They had room because of Gohara's going down temporarily and called up Preston Tucker.

Here's a good opportunity for Ender to build some confidence and knock in a run with two outs.

Almost completely off topic but at what point do you and your family decide maybe it's time to change the family name from Godley. I mean just imagine the stress and pressue that family must feel on a daily basis when making even the most insignificant choices.
You know they only buy the cage free / free range eggs.

Sanchez was holding them back for 5 innings before a bloop single of all things scores Alex Avila in the 6th. 1-1.

the D'backs pitcher has thrown 2 wild pitches so far inside they went behind the batters' backs.

Braves fell behind when Winkler couldn't pitch in the wet conditions. He threw a wild pitch and a runner advanced to second then gave up a double (or a single with an Ender error not sure). Then he pitched 3 straight balls and they called out the ground crew. After that though he got it together and started throwing strikes and getting outs.

The crowd, under the concourse mostly, is a record:

I wonder what there was about tonight's game that brought out a record crowd

Ender “groundout” Inciarte. It’s getting ridiculous. It’s driving me crazy. He needs to be batting 9th.

Once again, Sanchez is pulled with his pitch count in the 80s and the bullpen proceeds to frick it up. Let him go 7 for fricks sake.

Is that Eric Gregg behind home plate?

As great as this team has been playing, and as entertaining as they are to watch, I'm starting to think that we are still a year or two early.
We're still missing that Ace at the top of the rotation, we need at least two solid relievers, and we need a bat at either SS or 3B.
Dabsby hasn't evolved into the star player many thought he would become and frankly, I'm not sure he's anything more than a solid defensive player and an average hitter.
Camargo has been solid at third and is actually hitting better than Dabsby in batting average, RBI, and Hrs. We just need more production out of one, preferably both, of those positions.
Maybe we should try sliding Camargo over to SS and see if Culberson can produce on a daily basis.

We don't have the pitching to go far. Bullpen is mostly trash. The starting pitching is mostly young guys and Folty who is known to go thru periods of awful play. This team was never going to the world series and honestly I figure if they can play .500 ball all year I was going to be happy. The lineup still lacks something. Markakis and Albies have batted out of their minds but something is still missing in the lineup.
I don't see us competing next year unless we add an ace like Degrom and fix whatever is missing from the lineup. Not to say it's a bad lineup but it's very hot/cold. Also, the bullpen ….I got nothing. It needs some of everything.

Good news and bad news from the Braves.
Sandlot night with 2 cast members on hand I guess is the good news.
Bad news... he's back a day late, yesterday was Friday the 13th Moylan. Get well soon Vizcaino.

Newk still didn't have his best stuff in the first with all the walks and the hit, Byrd said he was having a hard time with location. He got out of it with just one run though. Hope he turns it around soon!
