Minter is going to age me this season. I can feel newly formed wrinkles in my forehead. Imagine we make it to the wild card or playoffs and minter comes in with a one run lead. I may literally shite myself.
Might as well put on your big boy diapers come the 6th or 7th inning then, because you'll need it when we run out Minter and Vizcaino back to back.
I can see it now...we'll be dominating the wild card play in game behind a strong outing by Newcomb. After the 6th inning and 92 pitches thrown, Snitker will take him out because "well, he sneezed in the dugout and we're afraid he might sneeze again, so we'd like to play it safe with Newk this time." He'll be replaced by a combination of Sam Freeman and Peter Moylan who will load the bases with no outs, and Minter will come in and get to a 3-0 count before inducing a comebacker to the mound for a double play followed by a flyball out hit to the 400 mark in CF.

Starting lineup tonight, guess who bounced back from the knock in the head and is part of the 2 catcher lineup:

Man, the Braves are super slow playing this Acuna injury.

Yeah I haven't heard anything about him since he went to Orlando for extended spring training workouts. I'm guessing he still has to do however many rehab minor league games before joining the Braves after that?

I thought I read he was going to the minors. Why would they do that?

I'd guess he plays a few games for the Fire Frogs while he's there

I wish he would rehab in the AA M Braves team so I could see him cause they come to my town soon but that's just me. I guess Gwinnett or Rome are the best for getting to ATL the fastest.

Here's the latest "Acuna news" from 20 minutes ago (also read Folty is coming back this Sunday... LINK):

Ronald Acuna (knee) is expected to begin a minor league rehab assignment "sooner than later." Those are the words of Atlanta Journal Constitution beat writer David O'Brien, who notes that Acuna has gone through two days of intense workouts this week at the Braves' spring training complex in Florida. The 20-year-old future star has been on the disabled list since May 28 because of a mild ACL sprain in his left knee. He had a .779 OPS with five home runs and two stolen bases through his first 29 major league games.

I hope they move McCarthy out of starting rotation when Folty comes back, just my opionion though. I'd keep Newk, Folty, Sanchez, Julio and Soroka.

McCarthy's rotation spot is in jeopardy for sure

Damn I love Culberson he took one for the team and saved Soroka from giving up 2 runs.

Braves game tomorrow doesn't come on Fox sports, have to watch on Facebook I think. See ya Friday, Chip and Joe.

Culberson hit one over the fence that hit him. 5 to 1.

That hit followed by Ender's and Johan's knocked the blue jay's former Braves pitcher out of the game in the 4th. Come on Ozzie, 2 on no outs!
Posted on 6/19/18 at 7:39 pm to dudeabides
Ender knocked in two! 7 to 2 Braves.
Posted on 6/19/18 at 7:41 pm to dudeabides
3 for 3 Camargo knocked in Ender, 8 to 2 still in the 5th.
