Apparently the Barves are kicking the tires on trading for Moustakas. Only makes $5.5M but will be a FA after 2018

Knowing Dayton Moore, it will take 3 C tier prospects, and the corpse of Bruce Chen.

I wonder if Austin Riley would be better than him by the time he's ready for MLB.

I'd be all in on it for a couple B prospects as a 2 month rental.
The most likely deal, I'd think, would be 2 months of Moose + Herrera. I'm guessing that would cost us one of the good but not elite pitching prospects (Wentz, Fried, Wilson, Toussaint) and a secondary guy (Waters, Muller, Peterson, Contreras).
If you add Herrera to this pen and Moose to this lineup..............
1. Albies, 2B
2. Swanson, SS
3. Freeman, 1B
4. Markakis, RF
5. Acuna, LF
6. Moustakas, 3B (to split up S/R/L/L/R/L/R/L)
7. Flowers/Suzuki, C
8. Inciarte, CF
Bench : Camargo (IF) (S), Tucker (LF) (LH), Flaherty (IF) (LH), Suzuki/Flowers (C) (RH)
Bullpen
CL : Hererra (RH)
SU : Winkler (RH)
MR : Vizzy (RH)
MR : Minter (LH)
MR : Carle (RH)
MR : Moylan (RH)
LR : Biddle (LH)
Go get a solid RH bench bat (preferably a 4th OF probably) and fvck yes

Tonight's lineup looking like yesterday's with Tyler/Julio replaced with Kurt/Folty:

I'll be honest, I just want to split these next 6 and get back home at 31-20.
If we could start June at 34-22 or 35-21 I'd be ecstatic.

Braves at Phillies is a go, 1st inning only Brave that could get a hit off Pivetta was Freddie. And he stole second! Markakis was up with 2 outs and Freddie in scoring position. But he stranded him there. good luck Folty.

Ender showed off the arm in that inning. What a laser

Folty gave up a hit but no runs in the 1st, but was saved some scoring postion trouble by Ender who threw out a Philly trying to tag up on him.

Swanson and Kurt got hits off Pivetta in the 2nd but didn't score. The braves did get him up to 46 pitches though. Folty let 2 phillies on base during his turn in the 2nd but got out of it without a run scoring. He seems to be having a hard time getting pitches where he wants them imo

Damn hitting homers off Carle too, 3 nothing phillies.

Our team lost well that's a bummer. Tomorrow when the phillies could take the division lead with a win, ATL is pitching McCarthy against their Velasquez don't worry the Braves can handle anything this year I'd say.

Hat tip, Pivetta was good and we had some unlucky line outs. Two good baseball teams.

It was a good pitching duel last night. Carle left a hanging breaking ball up and in.
McCarthy is 2-0 against the Phils this year. Velasquez has pitched well over the last few games. Our offense has to get it going.

Carle was due for a mistake at some point this season LOL. Can't fault him. We weren't hitting anyways.
