We definitely can't win any hardware with this bullpen

Vizcaino sucks. We've got to get somebody else.

Man this game got me salty

We do need a proper closer

At least they're still in first, Philadelphia is only a game out, but they didn't play.

He obviously didn't have it in the 9th and was lucky to get away with a couple of hangers before they drilled em.
Snit NEEDED to pull his arse on the 1st visit.

No doubt. I’m catching a game in July against the Jays. Haven’t been to the new park yet.

Viz choked it away again. I still don't see how that play at the plate wasn't overturned. Snitker really needs to speak up more and probably get ejected a few times. The umpire behind the plate wasn't consistent at all.

There was another play that went against the Braves this year on a very similar play. It was a play where the runner (not sure which team) slid head first into home where it was hard to tell whether the hand actually touched the plate or not. The video was clearly unclear on whether the hand touched or not, but the call was overturned anyways and the Braves got hosed.

Im salty about how the game ended last night but we shot ourselves in the foot a few times. Pitches in the dirt and blown saves.
On a positive note, Markakis is leading the MLB in hits with 56. Braves as a team are in second with 390 hits, trailing only the Red Sox. With the offense playing so well, it's really starting to spotlight the bullpen. I don't think the Braves wanted to spend any money on a closer since this year was supposed to be a development year rather than a possible playoff run, but if we're still in contention come All Star break then a decision will have to be made.

Pretty sure that was Bourjos against the Phillies and it ended up being the difference in the game

I don't think so. That play his foot clearly bounced over the plate. There was another where a player's hand crossed the plate but it was "unclear" whether it actually touched the plate or not.
