To be fair, the two throwing errors tonight really hurt us. Good teams take advantage of errors. The Dodgers did that tonight.

I really want to see us win this series. So far we've struggled against the best teams in the MLB. It seems we're still not at that level to compete with those guys yet.

The Braves chose to option Phillips to AAA with the Venters trade, Sam Freebases isn't going away.

listening to 680 the fan and they are talking to Mark Bowman right now about potential moves.

In the 4th Folty gave up a 2 rbi hit to Kershaw, braves are in some trouble now. Good thing they have the manager's favorite reliever Sam F able to still come in and make things better.

The Braves put in Venters to pitch in the 6th. He did really well and Carle in the 7th also.

Kershaw finally came out in the 8th it's 4 to 1 and Freddie is up with 2 on 2 out... and the chop in on btw.

That one didn't exactly work out, Braves lost 4 to 1. Tomorrow night the home team has more of a shot with Fried pitching vs Wood. Maybe Freddie, Nick, Johan and Ronald will have a big night.

So I don't think the front office thinks this is a playoff team. So why don't we trade away a few players then?

Braves are in a weird spot here.Markakis and Freddie aren't getting any younger and the starting pitching isn't quite there yet and obviously the bullpen is shite.
They certainly aren't getting any closer to the NL contenders who are obviously "all in"and pulling away from 'em.If they "stand pat"this summer they sure as Hell better make a splash with FA this winter (there'll
be PLENTY of money to spend) IF they don't they'll nothing more than a .500 team with a lot of pitching prospects that could be very good or nothing more
than a Matt Wisler.
