He seems to be working really hard. I dont think hes played at that price level, but hes a hard worker, good locker room guy with great ability. And some of his poor stats/play aren't his fault.
Several OC changes. Smith barely featured him for some reason.
I dont think hes earned that kind if money, but I could think of worse players to give that money to.

He would work harder if he was working for a contract, here or elsewhere. Just makes no sense. There was literally no reason to pay him now.

I agree but it’s a team friendly deal that is basically two years then team option. I was ok if they decided to move on from him after this year.

Pitts seems like a guy who doesn’t like football much. He plays it because he was given a ton of talent and physical gifts but he would rather do another job.
