Isnt there a shopping center/park called the battery in the area?

would it have something to do with that?

No it’s a little plastic box with batteries in it. It seems to have a speaker as well, I just don’t know what it does haha

Man I'm jealous as I live in New Orleans. I wish they had ATL UTD when I still lived in Atlanta. I want to see an ATL UTD game more than the Falcons to be completely honest.

They atmosphere looks intense compared to a mundane occasionally loud NFL game.

I went to one game last year, which happened to be the playoff game. I'm not in to soccer, but I had an absolute blast. Of course, the ending was typical Atlanta sports. The coach/manager/whatever you call him channeled his inner-Bobby Cox by taking out a top player in crunch time (hey, let's sit one of our best hitters in Javy Lopez in the playoffs because Maddux doesn't like the way he catches; oh, and while we are at it, let's play Keith Lockhart at 2B because the opponent is starting a RH pitcher).

Anyways, back to my main point after I got triggered by painful memories....the atmosphere was similar to a big-time college basketball game, but with a much larger attendance number.

When you open the box, there is a light sensor that triggers the speaker to play a crowd cheering. Did yours not do that?
