I know all eyes are on the Mets series but some Interesting news in DC Scherzer broke his nose in bunting practice. Bad news is with that + rain delays he’ll probably get a start vs the Braves when we probably would’ve missed him this time around.

The wash/philly game was ppd so at least the Braves just lose a half game in the standings without an epic comeback later.

Scherzer is pitching today with a broken nose so we will not be seeing him this weekend.
The nats beat the Phillies in game 1 today. Scherzer pitching game 2 and leading 1-0 in the 3rd. Chance to pick up 1.5 games in the Phillies today.

That was an awesome inning, does it count towards the win for Fried? They kinda took him out in the middle of the hitting part where they got the lead back that we hope nobody blows.
