I'm still so upset with the Mets for letting the Nationals comeback on Tuesday night. If the Mets weren't still within striking distance of a WC berth, I'd believe any conspiracy theory that told me they threw the game just to spite us.

Melacon gives up a 2 run HR in top 9th. Nearly gave another HR at the wall.

Melacon had a shaky outting. 28 pitches, gave up a hit to Soto. But got the final out.

Crazy thing about Acuna is that he only had 2 SBs through April 30th.
In May he stole 5 bases.
In June he stole 6 bases.
That's only 13 for the entire first half of the season.
He then had 0 through the first half of July. From July 14th through the 31st, he stole 12 in 16 games. He's stolen 8 bases since then for a total of 20 since around the all star break.
